Nobody marries a wrong spouse without signals- Segun-Okeowo

Legendary Filmmaker, Evang. Kolade Segun-Okeowo has stated that nobody has ever married a wrong husband or wife without signals or red lights. He emphasized that any one who married a wrong spouse must have seen some signs before marriage.
Gospel Film News correspondent reports that he stated this while addressing couples at the just concluded special retreat organized for couples below 10years in marriage. The programme named Beyond The Honeymoon has couples represented from different parts of the country.
The Filmmaker added that one of the problems associated with marriage is that many people go into marriage with Unrealistic Expectations, some are Waiting to use Marriage as a solution to their personal/family problems, while many others have Wrong believes and examples of failed marriages.
Segun-Okeowo also stated that a wife you don’t have time to pray with you won’t be able to play with when you retire, adding that people who go into marriage with unrealistic expectations eventually meet with shock and ability to manage shocks in marriage makes good marriage.
He further advised that couples should draw time limit for every crisis and should not allow crisis linger too long, saying couples should do consistent Peace Conference whenever they have issues.
“Don’t do ministry at the detriment of your family. Family comes before church. There is no super couple anywhere,” he said.
