Fiyinfolu Okedare to release ‘AfterOne’ movie

Gospel Actor, Fiyinfolu C.P. Okedare, is set to release a family-centred short film entitled, After One.
Speaking with Gospel Film News correspondents in Lagos yesterday, C.P. Okedare, who serves as an Executive Producer on the short film, shared the film’s synopsis: the birth of a child is not all that it is cracked out to be, and Jane (a new mom) struggles with her new life while dealing with the pressure of societal insensitivity and unhealthy traditions.
After One, which will be released later this month, is a celebration of women and motherhood, and it is no coincidence that it will premiere during International Women’s Month. According to C.P Okedare: “As a society, we often do not talk about the many challenges women face especially new moms, we see them as superheroes, which they are, but from time to time, every superhero needs support, and that is what this short film brings to light.”
“After One is family-centred, faith-based, and is the first of many to come in terms of high-concept stories that highlight family, faith and social themes,” he concluded.
Olakunmi Salako plays the lead character (Jane) alongside C.P. Okedare (John), Ololade Okedare, Seun Adejumobi, Folashade Aina, Adedamola Salako, Adewunmi Onofomi, Jennifer Ugboh.
After One is directed by Ayobola Eniola and written by Ololade Okedare, who writes under the pen name; Lydia Emmanuel. They both serve as co-Executive Producers through their company, Kinsman Media, alongside C.P. Okedare for PreciousCrown Productions (see full credits below).
The short film is set to premiere on March 26, 2021, and will be available on Kinsman Media’s YouTube channel.
