The Ace film producer and director, Segun Akande is set to direct another blockbuster later this month.
Gospel Film News gathered that the movie he is about to direct is titled ‘Eko to L’eegun’ from the stable of Gospel Heroes Film Int’l.
Eko to l’eegun which is scheduled to be shot between 19 and 21st October, 2018 is written and produced by Oyekunle Obadare.
The director, Segun Akande is the producer of the popular TV drama series, ‘Seed of Shame.’
Segun Akande has worked as D.O.P and editor at Oreofe Films and Theatre Production Company owned by Oreofe Williams while also working as a freelancer in Nigeria film production field. He has also worked with Segun Kayode melody (Melody Imaging Concept), the writer and producer of ‘the story of us’, a TV drama series showing already on AIT and African magic family.
This multi talented cinematographer is happily married to Aderoju Adejoke Akande with a kid, oluwadarasimi Segun-Akande.
He has been able to work in some Africa countries such as Kenya, Togo, Benin Republic, among others and some states in Nigeria.

Segun is about to release Seed of Shame, an educative, entertaining and informative TV series featuring Raph Niyi, Moji Wonah, and other known actors.
Actors expected on the set of ‘Eko to l’eegun’ include veteran actor Sola Oyin-Adejobi, Opeyemi Ojerinde Akintunde, Sam odusolu, Oyekunle obadare and others.
The movie which will be shot with Red Dragon camera has Adam Sulaimon as Sound man, Saheed Teyinbo as Location Manager, Aladegbola Adeyemi as the continuity, Taiwo Ayobami as light man, Realwan Akinsola and Adeola Adeleye as cameramen, Kehinde Awopeju as Editor, Tobi Odukomaiya as Makeup artiste, Akande Olayiwola as Director of Dialogue, Oyekunle obadare as the producer while Segun Akande will also double as Director of Photography and Project Coordinator.
According to information gathered by Gospel Film News, the movie will be shot on locations in Lagos and Ogun state and the film is scheduled to be released and premiered by 1st Sunday in December.
