2022 Edition of GoFestival Begins Powerfully This Week

The 2022 edition of Gospel Film Festival, GoFestival will hold this week in the city of Ibadan.
The film festival is slated to hold on Wednesday 8th through Saturday 11th of June, 2022 at Jogor Center, Ibadan.

The festival according to the Festival Director, Olaitan Faranpojo is to build a supportive platform for Christians involved in the production and distribution of media in Africa.
GoFestival has been designed to move the Gospel film industry/ministry forward and to change the face of Gospel films in Nigeria and across the world.
Faranpojo added that the idea of Gofestival was borne out of the desire to discover, nurture and establish Nigerian Christian Filmmakers for the future, showcase the abundant resources that abound in the Christian Film Industry while also acknowledging the immense contribution from the pioneer Gospel Filmmakers. He assured that the festival will provide an enabling environment for interaction between drama ministers, Film Producers, Directors, Screenwriters, Television producers, Copywriters, Film schools, Media houses and International Leading Christian Filmmakers.
“Our aims objective is to Celebrate the video and film industry which has emerged as a major form of dramatic expression
1. Create International exposure and bring African Christian Movie Makers under one roof to share versatility of message and ingenuity.
2. Re-engineer structures, systems and psyche that will develop the Christian Film Industry.
3. Create an avenue for the Nurturing and Promotion of African Christian Filmmakers to meet with the challenges of the 21st century filmmaker.
4. Project the rich culture of Nigeria and indeed the African Continent through the Screening of Movies during the event,” he stressed.
Registration for this world-class festival is Five Thousand Naira, (N5,000).
