We Faced Hunger, Lack – Segun Okeowo Recounts As He Celebrates 28th Wedding Anniversary With Wife

A drama and movie icon, Kolade Segun-Okeowo has narrated how himself and wife, Sunmbo Segun-Okeowo suffer hunger and lack when they got married newly.
Gospel Film News gathered that Kolade Segun-Okeowo made this known in a social media post early hours of today while appreciating God for His faithfulness over his 28 Years marriage.
He stated that himself and his wife have come a long way, have stumbled and fumbled, experienced up and down.
According to him “We stumble & fumble, We stood strongly together, We have cried and laughed, We have fought and settled, We have seen the good & bad, We saw hunger and lack, We face faced rejection & hatred, We experienced real poverty, We knew what scarcity is, We cried at midnight, We wept together in closet.
“Garri for a six month old, Compulsory fastings, Trekking distance to preach, Skipping meals in pregnancy, Faith by force in face of lack, Kids sent home for fees, For better for worse in poverty and riches.
“In health and sickness, In lack and plenty, In times of joy and sadness, In good and bad times, God has been our refuge, He has blessed us, He has comforted us, He has honoured us, He has provided for our needs. Great is thy faithfulness. 28 years and still counting !!! To God be the glory.”

1996 in Osun State.
