Romans 6:1-2,12,23 KJV
[1] What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
[2] God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
[12] Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
[23] For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

There has been a terrible wave blowing across the vineyard of God and across the household of Faith and across our campuses among our youths these days that I don’t really fully understand.
Some times ago, I was watching a television program of a church and an elderly known minister of God was preaching to his congregation and began to say something that caught my attention immediately and I called the attention of my wife and my son to it and told them to watch out for what the man was saying. It jolted me and confused my spirit for that moment, not because I agreed with what was being said…but because of the caliber of the minister saying the words.
And these same teaching has been going round many churches and many of our campuses, making many innumerable number of our youth to lose their spirit of consecration and spiritual steadfastness before God.
IT IS BEING SAID THAT ONCE YOU ARE SAVED….YOU NEED NOT WORRY AGAIN….YOU WILL MAKE HEAVEN…NO MATTER HOW YOU LIVE YOUR LIFE…
It is now said….that Once Jesus has paid the price for your sin…you need not pay any price again….no matter how you now live your life…
It is now said….no matter what happens to you or whatever you now do….Once you are Saved by the Blood of Jesus…you can never go to Hell again…..
It is now said…that the sins you have committed and the sins you are now committing and the ones you will still commit in life…are all forgiven you,,,Once you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
THEY SAID…GRACE HAS COVERED UP FOR YOU…SO YOU CAN NOW LIVE IN THE LIBERTY OF THE SALVATION THAT IS BOUGHT FOR YOU BY THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF CHRIST…..THAT YOU CAN NOW LIVE IN FULL LIBERTY….
I read on the Twitter handle of a church, the minister said…”You do not have to live the live of struggles or pay any price to make heaven …because the Price has already being paid….
I AGREE…
THAT JESUS HAS DIED ON THE CROSS TO REDEEM US FROM THE POWER OF SINS AND ETERNAL DEATH….SO , AS MANY AS ACCEPT HIS FREE OFFER OF SALVATION IS SAVED FROM ETERNAL CONDEMNATION AND PUNISHMENT….I AGREE.
But…
Did the Death of Christ on the Cross and the full payment for our sins now give us the Permission and Liberty to continue living in sin?
Did the Price Jesus pay on the Cross with His blood to set us free from the Cage and Eternal Death Sentence, now give us the Freedom to start living in full blown unrighteousness and ungodliness again.
Look at this scenerio.
A prisoner condemned to death for his bad deeds stayed in prison awaiting death. But the Governor of the State came into the Prison and told the Prison Administrator to release him, because he has settled his case and has been pardoned for the sins he has committed. He could not be released.
Does that Pardon and Grace that was given to him by the Governor, now gives him the liberty to go back into the street and begin to commit the sins that had landed him in the Prison at the first time? Would the Governor of the State look on him kindly again?
When we were growing up in Christ, we were taught this by our Bible teachers:
2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
And this also;
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 KJV
[9] Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
[10] Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
And when I grew up in Christ, one of the passage of the Bible that has kept me in checks to keep living for God is this:
Matthew 7:21-23 KJV
[21] Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
[22] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
[23] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
This Strange Doctrines (either false or good) has made many to begin living their lives without Fear and Trembling. It I has made many people to lose the meaning of Salvation and “Born Again”. So a lot are Born Again, but can still have girl-friends within the church. They are going to heaven but can still leave together as couples while they are not yet married. They are church workers and ministering the Word of life to a lot of people, but can still fall out and in of marriage. THEY ARE FREE TO LIVE THEIR LIFE AS THEY WANT NOW, THEY WOULD NOT BE PUNISHED FOR ANY OF THESE WRONG DOINGS
…BECAUSE JESUS HAS PAID THE PRICE….!
But the Infallible Word of God has said it boldly….
Galatians 5:19-21 KJV
[19] Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these ; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
[20] Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
[21] Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
