The famous Nollywood actress, Stella Damasus who joined the ‘Lucifer’ movie series conversation sparked by Joshua Bamiloye, son of the famous Mount Zion movie producers, Mike and Gloria Bamiloye, has revealed that her kids are not allowed to watch the American movie series.

Stella Damasus who reacted to the tweet by Joshua said her kids are not allowed to watch the ‘Lucifer’ movie series because it is quite a clever and subtle way of making people get used to him and also admire him, she tweeted.

Lucifer is a television series that tells a fictional story of how the devil escaped from hell to live in Los Angeles. It is an American urban fantasy comedy drama TV series which revolves around the devil who abandons hell for Los Angeles where he runs his own nightclub and becomes a consultant to the LAPD.

The series received initially mixed reviews from critics during its first season, though the subsequent seasons drew more favorable acclaim. Many critics particularly praised Ellis’ performance. Despite initially high viewership for its debut, ratings remained consistently low throughout the series’ run on Fox. On May 11, 2018, Fox cancelled Lucifer after three seasons. A month later, Netflix picked up the series for a fourth season of ten episodes, which was released on May 8, 2019.

“I had a conversation about this in my house weeks ago. Had to tell kids why they couldn’t watch it in my house or anywhere else. They understood and told their friends too. A clever and subtle way of getting one to get used to him and even admire. I no gree o,” she said.

A twitter user user, Olawale Ebenzy added that the movie is a cunning way of the devil.

I actually watched season 1 and although a very humourous and suave character was used, I’m smarter than to swallow it hook line and sinker and pretend it’s not actually a “Satanist” movie. Anyone that has read up on Satanism wouldn’t be fooled. But my people don’t read.”
