Hmmmmm Mr Registrar we know say them go catch you and Rambo for the end but why are you making it this soon lol the Holy spirit has made this registrar a grade one mumu. indeed when God is on your side ehnnn your enemy will give you the necessary information you need to nail him thinking you are a brother.

Oris Daniel

Mr Register kept spilling such top secret capable of sending him behind bars for life to Martins even when Martins kept a shocking look at him this didn’t give the registrar a clue that he shouldn’t spill everything till he finds out that Martins is actually a member of the fraternity, (laughs) I guess his quest for power made him so desperately foolish (laughs).

Please o Uncle Dammy Where is my Mama Gbenro and Baba Gbenro in this episode? I missed them in this episode o I really needed to hear “Daddyyyy, Mummyyyyyyy,” Baba Gbenro wey no sabi cook with his deliciously salty food, his food is always a topic during devotion, Chai i guess the season is getting hotter so we won’t be having much comics any longer. I told y’all the season will be hot we are getting there gradually.

So The director is really doing a lot with drone shots in this season and I’m loving it so much, the drone shots are beautiful. I understand that writing this kind of movie can be very very complex, managing the continuity in the story line, and also on set can be very very difficult. I must commend The writer Damilola Mike Bamiloye, its not easy connecting this kind of story, I mean the development and characters with their experiences, ensuring there is no repetition, disconnection in the narration of the story, its not easy and I must establish that. Its one thing to write the story and its another thing to shoot it well with clarity.

The story is developing very well, and I’m really enjoying and learning a lot, take a look at the scene where Jesus appeared to Kayode and told him his servant is coming to him that part where Flora brought out the flier and it stated what Jesus said in his dream was just epic, it just confirmed that Flora was the one Jesus sent and it made everything easy.

Since I started watching Abattoir I have not seen any amateur actor. all the actors are on the top of their game, just imagine this type of story having bad actors we wouldn’t have been enjoying this story like this o or even talking about it o, part of what helps a good story is the delivery of the casts, if you have a very beautiful script and bad actors you are in trouble already. Every director knows what I’m talking about.

The editing, theme song, sound background sound effect, picture quality has been very very OK right from episode one..

Its a beautiful work but with so many BUT’S

1 The grand master of the fraternity played by Joseph Adepoju keeps calling his agents by the name they use in the physical world, he said in one of the scenes in the coven I call forth agent Gbade and I call forth agent Durosanya, I thought shouldn’t the agents have a name they are known by in the coven? They should have all been given a spiritual name by the grand master that once they are in the coven for meetings they will be addressed by their spiritual names, and not just called by the names they are known with in the physical outside world.

2 But Rambo has already been revealed in the News in previous episode as part of the master mind of the recent kidnaps at Excellence University, he is known and has been announced to be a 300level student of the school, is that not enough information the police needs? How come the police, not really saying anything about arresting a prime suspect as Rambo?

To me there is no much investigation that needs to be done. Rambo just needs to be fished out, and all the abductees will be found, where are his records in the school’s admin office? With Rambo’s School identity card registration number and form it will be very easy to fish out Rambo, his parents, guardian or referee would have been brought in for questioning by now, I don’t just understand why Rambo’s name is scarce in the entire investigation.

So, episode 3 ended in the scene where Kayode held Martins hostage in the staff room holding two guns in his hands, with the police officer standing, and episode 4 begins with same scene but this time Kayode had ran out, won’t the police immediately go after Kayode To apprehend him? Instead of sitting down immediately to question Martins at such a crucial moment? What if Kayode went to come in with more of his gang members? What if Kayode went out to reinforce? What if Kayode went to inform his fellow cult members of the presence of the police in the school and they decide to quickly change base. So many what if’s

Why is this police majoring on the minor and minoring on the major. I wish the police did a little chasing after Kayode before coming back to interrogate Martins. Even if There will be interrogation it would have been in another location, the police would have taken Martins to another Location where the cultist had no clue of, for safety reasons.

Such a prime suspect as Kayode whom the police have already seen is comfortably moving about sleeping in the hostel without being caught or wanted haaaaa. I think the time the police is using in investigating should just be used in finding these suspects and question them. Its obvious who the kidnappers are already.

I don’t also understand why the police officer played by Chioma Chukwulotam officer Gabriel halted Martins when he was about to narrate his story, I mean in an investigation the investigator or interrogator has to be a very good listener, as an investigator you don’t joke with your source when you get one, you must be ready and patient enough to sit and listen to every detail from your source because the breakthrough of the investigation might just be found at any point of the information your source is dishing out so you must be ready to sit sometimes for hours to listen to everything. But inspector Gabriel cut Martins off by saying I’m not a fan of horror movies, what if the next information he is about to spill is what she has been looking for to help her investigation process?

I wish there were more smarter, brilliant, tactical questions from Officer Gabriel to Martins, questions like are you a cultist? Is he a cultist sounded lame, I mean its obvious from Kayode’s appearance that he is a cultist, I mean its only a cultist that will be in possession of two guns and appear in red he is obviously not a police officer. I needed more brilliant challenging questions. In an investigation or questioning there are many questioning and answers.
Officer Gabriel’s script could have been written more professionally than it was. I mean I know Damilola Mike Bamiloye to be a great writer he could have done far better for Officer Gabriel

After Kayode left Martins and Officer Gabriel in the staff room, and the police officer began interrogating Martins, Martins was too chill and relaxed for someone who has just been pointed at with two guns, you can see Martins sitting relaxed with his back against the chair talking so calm while the police officer was questioning him, I mean the tension would still be high Martins should still be panicking even peeping to see if Kayode had actually gone far or is still around. Trust me the trauma of being pointed at with two guns is not one to recover from in such a short while.

Why is Barrister Adegbola all alone in this? Why is he alone looking for his son where are his lawyer colleagues? Where are his family and friends? You kidnap the son of a lawyer, trust me he will get the best hands to investigate it and handle the situation based on his experience, he won’t just be moving all alone, wandering about like a nonentity, he is not a novice in issues like this.

And in The ending part of episode 4 where the registrar arranged for Martins to come to his office so he’d meet with his dad chief Durosanya i thought Chief Sanya on seeing his son Martins will stand up and gladly try to embrace Martins since its been long he has been longing to meet him, Chief Sanya sitting down and smiling looking at Martins as Martins walked in watered down the fact that Chief has been longing to see Martins his son.

Abattoir is actually a master piece and I celebrate the creator. Kudos to the cast and crew.

7/10
