Melita Will Be The First Gospel Film To Show In Cinema In Ilorin- Director

Still in the atmosphere and euphoria of Melita movie showing in cinemas in Nigeria, the movie director, David Kola Okeowo has stated that to the best of his knowledge this will be the first time a Christian movie will be at the cinema in Ilorin.

Melita movie is expected to screen at Viva Cinema, Ilorin Kwara State Capital on Sunday 19th June, 2022 by 3:30pm. This is after it has been screened in Lagos and Ibadan on 11th and 12th respectively.

Okeowo made this statement while speaking with Press Men at the Ibadan premiere on Sunday.


He further called people of Ilorin to come all out to see the movie at the cinema in Ilorin, adding that It is the first time to his knowledge that two halls will be playing the same Christian movie in one cinema at the same time.


He stressed that the ministry started at Ilorin, Kwara state so taking Melita there is going to be a home coming.
