“In Stewardship, Even When Your Leader is Wrong, You Don’t Talk Bad About Him,” Says ANCEDRAM Board Member

A Board of Trustees member of the All Nigeria Conference of Evangelical Drama Ministers, ANCEDRAM, Evangelist Hans Nuhu has noted that when it comes to stewardship, a follower doesn’t have any right to talk bad about his or her leader even when the leader is wrong.
Nuhu made this statement at the ongoing National Congress and International Conference of All Nigeria Conference of Evangelical Drama Ministers, ANCEDRAM in Enugu while speaking on the topic, ‘Service,’ Gospel Film News report.
Citing example of Joseph in Genesis chapter 39, Nuhu stated that his master entrusted everything into his hand excluding his wife and that’s instruction which Joseph served His master obediently and wholeheartedly. According to him, service brought about Joseph’s upliftment to the position he climbed due to quality service.
He added that Jacob served 7 years for the first wife and another 7 years for the second wife and even though his master deceived him but he kept growing from grace to grace and his master was even blessed because of quality service.
He emphasized that service pays and not just anyhow service, rather quality service. The minister said when his group started with just only himself, he kept coming out with results, serving faithfully till God started blessing them with his own people.
He noted that: “in quality service/Stewardship, even when your leader is wrong, you don’t talk bad about him/her when he falls, let him to His master (God). One thing that is paramount in carrying out your service is that you should know and have a mentality that the service is not for leader or for your church but unto the Lord and with this mindset that you won’t wait for anyone, whether or not others come, you keep moving, they will join the train.”
In driving home his message, he highlighted some benefits of quality service. Which he says are Promotion, Sickness will be taken away from you, Provision in all angle, and strength from God.
