Gideons Drama/Film Institute to start another academic session

The Gideons Drama/Film Institute is set to resume another academic session.
In a chat with Gospel Film News, the provost of the institute, Evang. Segun Badejo noted that the October session of the institute will commence on 20th adding that Basic Course is between 20th and 23rd of Oct while Advanced Course is from 24th – 27th, Oct 2019.
He further stressed that the training which will take place at Gofamint Camp, Arulogun Rd, Ojoo, Ibadan cost Five Thousand Naira (N 5,000) each for Basic and Advance Course. Basic Course includes general courses while Advance Course includes specialized classes such as Camera, Light, Sound, Makeup, Set Design, Costume and Props.
According to him, all participants will participate in the ongoing Season Movie, “Awon Akoni” as their practicals.
Badejo reiterated that all advance students must have gone through the basic course and will have to specialize in one department either Art department (Makeup, Set Design, Costume, and Props) or Cinematography department (Camera, Light, and Sound) and Certificates will be awarded at the end of the training.
