“BAFFLING INSTRUCTIONS…”
Scattered across the Word of God are God’s Instructions and Commandments that are baffling, staggering and in many places, very ridiculous. When Moses was leading the Israelites away from Egypt and brought them to the bank of the Red Sea, God told him to tell Israel to “Go Forward!” then, he commanded him to raise up his rod and divide the sea into two. Unbelievable!
When Joshua got to the back of Jericho city, where the walls were as thick as 15 feet, which could take about two cars, side by side, to destroy the walls of Jericho, the Lord ordered them to keep walking around the walls once a day, and on the seventh day, to walked around it seven times, after which they would shout. And that was all they had to do to destroy a wall that no human weapon of that time could destroy.
Hosea 1:2 KJV
The beginning of the word of the Lord by Hosea.
And the Lord said to Hosea,
Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms:
for the land hath committed great whoredom, departing from the Lord .
I was amazed of this instructions that came from God to Prophet Hosea: “Go and take a Prostitute to yourself and marry her” in order for the Lord to speak to the children of Israel that they had committed harlotry against Him, by departing from Him. then, the Harlot wife conceived and gave birth to her first child, the Lord said the child should be called Jezreel, because He wanted to tell Israel that He would punish the house of Jehu and put an end to the kingdom of the house of israel.
When the harlot wife conceived again and gave birth to a girl, the Lord said her name would be Lo-ruhamma because He wanted to tell Israel that He would no longer have mercy upon them. The third child was a boy and God gave him the name: Lo-ammin,

“And the Lord said, Call his name Lo-Ammi [Not-my-people], for you are not My people and I am not your God.
The great lesson I learnt from this story of Hosea, is that, GOD WAS ABLE TO CONTINUE TO SPEAK THROUGH PROPHET HOSEA AS LONG AS HE CONTINUED TO OBEY THE LORD’S INSTRUCTIONS.
For you to be qualified as God’s mouth-piece, a prophet, and God’s megaphone, you must be ready to obey the Lord’s instructions, both logicals and illogicals. God used Prophet Hosea to prophesy to the nation when he did what the Lord asked him to do. So, he was able to continue in the office of the prophet.
When I read the story of the Prophet Ezekiel, and how he did all he did to remain as God’s prophet, I became more humbled. And I was convinced again that no one can be a mouthpiece of God, without learning to obey the Lord God absolutely. Have you read the portion of the Bible where the Lord told Prophet Ezekiel to bake a bread with human dung and eat it before the people of Isreal, because he wanted to tell the House of Israel a message:
Ezekiel 4:13 KJV
And the Lord said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, whither I will drive them.
For these prophets to continue in the office of prophets for the nations, they must continue to obey God’s instructions, either they understand it or not.
If you would like to continue in your ministerial office of your calling, just keep listening to what God would say at any particular time and be ready to obey His Words. Obedience to His Instructions and orders guarantees your continuous and progressive calling and ministry.
Hosea would never have attempted to marry a promiscuous woman and Ezekiel would never have attempted to eat a bread baked with human dung, if not their commitment to obey everything the Lord said. And that was why they continued in their ministry and calling.
When God is using you as a prophet to the nations, through muisc, drama, teachings, prayers, etc, He takes over every aspect of your life and has control and authority over every area of your life. He could order you to do things you would not have done normally: he could ask you to go places you would never have attempted to go on your own. What is the major ingredient for being God’s glorious mouth-piece? OBEDIENCE and SUBMISSION to His plans and purpose.
That is the secret of continual success in the ministry….. Obeying the voice of the Lord to do whatever He says to you, either you understand the instructions or not.
The Lord instructed Abraham to set out with his family to the Land he knew not. And he obeyed. That was how he came to the land of Canaan which the Lord said he would give to him and his descendants.
You have to be addicted to the Voice of the Lord in order to walk into your miracles.
To remain relevant in the Lord and be progressive in ministry, you just have to be addicted to obeying His voice.
