Breaking: Mount Zion Institute affiliates with Ajayi Crowther University

The Mount Zion Institute of Christian Drama is now affiliated with Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo State.

This is contained in a news published on the university website recently.

Report has it that the affiliation was approved recently by the university senate which enable both organizations to work together.

According to report by Gospel Film News, the institute run by foremost Christian film actor, script writer and director, Evang. Mike Bamiloye has now been affiliated to the Department of Performing Arts and Music of the University.

The University’s Senate approved the affiliation following an application from the Mount Zion Institute and visit by a panel from the University to inspect facilities in the institute, and certify that the institute has the requisite staff and facilities to run the Programme of the University.

The Vice- Chancellor, Rt. Rev. Prof. who Chaired in the University Senate’s first meeting at the permanent site on Oyo-Ogbomoso road, said the institute was one of the foremost Christian Drama institutions in the country, and given that Ajayi Crowther University is founded by the Church, it was fit and proper that the approves the affiliation .

Proprietor of the institute, Mike Bamiloye and his team, had earlier visited the University to express his desire for the affiliation. By the approval of the University’s Senate, the institute will now offer certificates, Diploma and degree Programmes of the Department of Performing Arts and Music, Gospel Film News can confirm.
