ANCEDRAM Surulere reunites, call on old members to return

It was indeed a turning point for the Surulere unit of All Nigeria Conference of Evangelical Drama Ministers, ANCEDRAM under Lagos state chapter yesterday, 24th of June 2018 as the unit reunite after what could be called a long break.

ANCEDRAM Surulere which has been in existence before gradually became inactive after the former unit leader relocated abroad.

The reuniting took place at Christ Apostolic Church, Surulere Zonal Headquarters, Fasoro street off Bishop junction, Surulere Lagos.

Gospel Film News correspondent who was live at the reunion disclosed that those who came for the meeting were given orientation about ANCEDRAM and why the unit need to rise again.

The immediate past secretary of ANCEDRAM Lagos state, Evangelist David Oshodi has been appointed as the acting Unit Leader while Evangelist Peter Ayeni was appointed as acting secretary. This was done to make the unit gain its feet on ground before electing new executives and proper inauguration.

While addressing the ministers, the Lagos state chairman, Evangelist Isaac Afolahan noted that ANCEDRAM is not a church nor a drama ministry rather, an association and everybody should see it that way.

He further explained that the reunion is a fulfilled dream, saying members should be ready to guide against anything that want to attack the unit.

Well respectes personalities present are the former National Secretary, Evangelist Olumuyiwa Adeyeye, ANCEDRAM Lagos chairman, Evangelist Isaac Afolahan, Lagos state secretary, Evangelist Nike Idowu, Mainland unit coordinator, Evangelist Israel Okunfeyiwa and Evangelist David Oshodi who is the immediate past Lagos state secretary.

On a final note, every 2nd Sunday of month was agreed upon as the meeting days from 4-6pm, while the meeting venue is CAC Surulere Zonal Headquarters.

However, 15th of July, 2018 was chosen as the next meeting date because it was agreed that ANCEDRAM Lagos state meeting which is every 2nd Thursday of the month, should always preceed Surulere meeting in order to get adequate and fresh information from the state level.
