1. Praey movie tends to breed the gap between faith based industry and the main stream counterpart. It’s a triller mystery crime story and a traditional story as well.

 

John Oguntuase is creating a story line inspired by true life story around a hunted village where there was serial killing. Praey talks about a hunted community far away from civilization whereby medical youth service corps were hunted by strange men. The movie discusses family, Government, medical care and most importantly about God and his supremacy. The movie was co-directed by Joseph Duke.

 

2. Choice of Cast. The calibre of cast of the project is very apt. Take for instance, Omolara Ayoola who played the role of a detective officer who was moved from the city to the town .
This is her first time take a police officer as major role in a movie and it’s unique. She is happy that the movie is not taking the regular direction in faith based movie. Praey is a movie that is trying to build something, changing the narrative, embracing change.Gospel Film News. Victor Olukoju, PVO also played an elderly village person and the likes of Kayode Owojori, Joseph Yemi Adepoju, Kolade Segun-Okeowo, Abraham Adebayo, Wole Olaleye, Idowu Oluwaferanmi, Afolabi Dipeolu, Moses Korede Are, Kayode Babalola, Femi Adebile,  Deborah Adeola, Philip Olaleye, Tomiwa Samson, Damilola Fasesan and other veterans played unique roles that they’ve probably not played before in the movie.

 

3. Praey is set in a present rural community to interpret some of the present day practice in relation to God in a contemporary manner. The team created a village of their own where about 99% of the people in the village have tribal mark.

 

4. BTS. This is probably the first time in a long time that a terrestrial TV station will come to shoot Behind The Scene and do a reportage of a gospel film in Nigeria. Though online media platforms like Gospel Film News Tv usually go to film locations to shoot BTS and do news reportage of the movie but for Praey movie, Entertainment News of Channels TV crew were present to shoot BTS and do a news reportage.

 

5. Collaboration: In recent time, gospel film Makers have embraced collaborations which have improved the level of production. Praey movie utilized the tool of collaboration between 2nd Touch and Impact Global Ministries. The collaboration sure yielded result.

 

6. Budget: You need no prophet to tell you that Praey movie is a high budget film. It’s a multi million naira film. Much was spent on equipment, welfare, amongst others.

 

7. Welfare: Despite the huge Human Resources, feeding, accommodation and transportation of cast and crew was well taken care of. This made cast and crew to feel at home and comfortable. Thanks to Anuoluwapo Oguntuase and Mojisola Ogunlana who were both in charge of the welfare. Gospel Film News. Fantastic crew like Kunle Adepoju who’s the DOP, Niyi Famewo who’s the 2nd Unit Camera, Kehinde Olowalafe who professionally maned the light, Yomi the sound, Creative Bayo Effect and Dare Norman as Makeup and special effect, Sunday Jokotoye who did fantastic job by creating various outstanding sets used in the movie, Ayo Olaleye who was the Line Director, Ajibade Dorcas who handled costume, Seun Adejumobi who coordinated the cast, Tunde Owah and Oluwafemi Ezekiel who were the Production Managers and other dogged crew members.
