The role Eniola played reminds me of so many ladies who have been receiving warning signals in their relationships but refuse to give heed to them.
You keep seeing red flags everywhere, but you’re waiting for the miracle that will happen to change him.
She knew that her getting married to Gbenro was going to put her life at stake but she refused to cut off the relationship
She knew that the guy brought down her spiritual life, but she refused to cut off the relationship.
She knew that the guy was not covering or protecting her spiritually, but she refused to cut off the relationship. She knew that the guy was not carrying his parents along in their wedding plans, but she refused to cut off the relationship. The guy even refused to allow her get close to his parents where she would have received help, but she was too weak to break the relationship.
Little did she know that Marriage will not even last a day. She ruined her life just on their court wedding. God gave her a lot of signs but she turned deaf ears to them. He even sent friends to her like he has been sending people to many of us, but we keep refusing Eniola’s life is a great lesson here for many of us to give heed to warning signals.
I’m sure Gbenro will later change, but she lost her life already. What a pity. May you not loose your life due to disobedience. May God give you the grace and strength to come out of every toxic or ungodly relationship in Jesus name.
