What determines if we can direct your movie or not, directors speak in video

Some gospel movie directors have revealed what they considered before accepting to direct a movie.
This they disclosed in an exclusive video interview with Gospel Film News recently. Excerpt:
ADEOYE OMONIYI
“What determines my presence is when the spirit of God ask me to go. Alot of scripts have been given to me that I will just feel reluctant to be there and I will just turn it down with respect but if God want me on a location He will put it on my mind and will make everything work out even if the script is not good there is a way we can adjust it to make it good. The script doesn’t determine if I will be on a location or not. It is not money, I don’t charge. I am a minister of God, when I go to minister I don’t charge because i didn’t buy it……”
JOHN OGUNTUASE
“The first thing is to consult God if He really want me on that project. If I have leading of the Holy Spirit I will consider that. The next thing is to see if the story is inspirational, if it’s something that can impact lives, something that will be of advantage to the world. I also need to know if it’s a godly story……”
ISAAC FEMI AKINTUNDE
“The first thing I will look out for is the message. If the message is ok, even if other things are not ok I can even volunteer to straighten up some things but the message has to be there first. That’s one paramount thing I look out for. I will also ask the producer or Executive Producer as the case may be, if they are using secular actors either acting alongside with me or will partake in that movie even if I’m not there…..”
AYO OLALEYE
“I expect every story to be rich with good message and structure. I discovered that alot of our stories are not structured and that is really affecting us. If the structure is bad from the beginning the telling of the story will not be ok so everything has to be structured….”
