Minutes later, the door opened and James entered.
“Darling, where have you been? I have been searching for you”
“Seriously babes”
“Yes”
“Have you read your bible this morning”
“Bible?”
“Yes, I didn’t want to take my phones along, I left a note for you there, I knew you always read your bible after praying, “
“Waoh, I haven’t read it, I was too worried, I actually read it before I slept after the vigil and I saw your two phones on the bedside table”
She moved to take her bible.
“No need of reading the note again, Ok, I left early for the gym at the front of the ship. I jumped on the treadmill and ran, I later did some exercises too, I didn’t want to deny you of your beauty sleep, so didn’t wake you up”.
She moved towards him,
“Do you rest at all?”
“Yes I do but I also deserve to exercise” he put the small stray hair on her head into place.
“That’s not what I meant please, you work so hard, you had an online meeting after our prayers and you left for the gym early this morning. You do all these and still had time for my family and I during our courtship”
“Sweetheart, after God, family is next, I need all I do now, maybe I should say, welcome to the world of James Lubiya, I hope my routine won’t upset Her Excellency”. He gave a salute and smiled afterwards.
” Can Her Majesty now permit me to have a shower before our breakfast?”
“I haven’t had my bath either”.
James giggled and said, ” all because you were worried sick about your supposed missing husband”.
“It’s worth it”.
“It’s about time you exhibit faith my dear wife, I will still be here for a long time, my grandchildren will still call me Pappy J, or have you forgotten the scripture which says that my life is hid with Christ in God?”.
Agnes busted into laughter, “Really, Ok, noted for action”.
Agnes shook her head and smiled afterwards.

The Reconciliation (Part 53)
Agnes had new dining experiences on the ship which were quite impressive, though she wasn’t really adventurous when it comes to food but her husband encouraged her to have a taste of different continental dishes.
At lunch, James and Agnes moved towards the Japanese restaurant, they were about placing their orders when a man walked up to James. James removed his glasses as the man tried to remember his name.
“Excuse me please, I seem to have met you somewhere”
James smiled.
” If I remember correctly, You are James, a telecom guru from Africa”.
James smiled, “I remember you now, we met on my first cruise experience some years ago”
“Exactly, how is your darling wife?”
“She has, hmmm, she has passed”.
” What? I am so sorry about that. Such an amiable woman, my wife learnt a lot from her. Do you know my wife still has the book she gave us as gift?”.
“Really, Kate was indeed a great woman but please meet my new wife, she is Agnes”
“Good afternoon Agnes, hope you are having a great time here?”
“Good afternoon sir, yes I am”. Agnes answered with a smile.
He turned to James, “Do enjoy your moment but we will surely have a chat later”
“Thanks Mr…. “
“Mr Harvey, John will do anyway”
“John Harvey, see you later”.
“Bye”.
The couple were about leaving the sandwich shop the following day when they met John Harvey and his wife with another middle-aged lady.
Salutations and small talk done, they all moved to the grill corner.
“Please accept my condolence, I learnt Kate has passed”. Comfort Harvey said.
“Yes, she is gone to be with the Master”. James replied
“Do you know we now have a son?”.
“Really”.
“After ten years of marriage. I can’t forget Kate’s encouragement and the book on daily scriptures confession she gave me, I would have called afterwards but we lost your contacts, she was such a great blessing to my family. I remember she was close to tears when she prayed with me that evening”.

” Well, that was Kate, immediately her feet hit the ground everyday, she thought of how she could add value to people, I’m just thankful I was privileged to be her husband”,James replied.
“Waoh, such a testimony”, Comfort Harvey responded.
James held Agnes by the waist and made her head rest on his shoulder.
The Harveys excused themselves few minutes later.
” Are you okay with that line of discussion?”
“Line of discussion?”
“About Kate”
Agnes was shocked.
“Do you mean to ask if I was comfortable hearing her name and good works?”.
James was mute.
” I am comfortable and very secured, she was my boss and there is no how she would just be forgotten, she has children you know and they would be talking about her”.
She paused to see James’s reaction.
“Apart from that, her good works will still continue to speak though she is dead”.
” Thanks for your understanding but in future, I must really try in guiding the conversation so that it won’t be as if you are not appreciated”.
“Well, I would have contributed to your conversation but the Harveys might not understand why you chose to marry her protégée”.
“You are right on that”.
“Sometimes, I feel her shoes is too big to fill, my friend said she doesn’t envy me in that regard”.
” You will be more than who she was, you are now walking with the God of James Lubiya”.
“Really, excuse me sir, I have been greatly beloved by God before meeting you”.
“Then my dear, believe you shall do greater works”.
” I believe, can I tell you something please?” Kate asked.
“Go ahead”
“Don’t laugh please, if you think you don’t like the idea, just tell me nicely”.
James nodded with a smile.

“Seeing multiple food joints, buffet lines, restaurants and different food options that are pretty amazing, I think it will be cool if I can go into catering business, I mean having my own restaurant with different continental and local dishes”. Agnes said.
” OK”
“That’s all”
“How long have you been thinking about this?”.
“I have been thinking about different business ideas since I attended an entrepreneurship seminar early this year but catering business came into my mind today”.
“Do you have any experience in that line or what’s the plan?”. Well, I know you are a good cook but you will need professional help.
“Yes, I have a robust experience from selling at Mama Agnes Fast Food International”.
James roared into laughter, ” That’s quite an impressive resume, it will surely win a global award”
” Well that’s a joke but those are the days of our little beginning”.Agnes giggled.
“Thanks for amusing me my darling wife, I am not despising your past but if you really want to do this, you need to do your research and feasibility study. We should be sure of the profitability before we venture into it”.
” We?”
“Yes, we or do you think I will allow my wife start a fast food that is equivalent to a mama put?”.
“Thanks for believing in me”.
” Possibility is the word, just let’s also seek divine guidance “
“Very important”
“Please update me on this in two days time, get more information online first, then you will give a detailed info when we get to Nigeria.
” Two days darling, I still need to enjoy my honey moon”.
“Sweetheart, update in two days , that’s the deal. I have sealed a business deal right during a cruise vacation previously”.
” OK sir”.
“Remember we are flying to Ghana from here, my cousin and his wife are ready to host us. So , please start working on it”.
” You can motivate for Africa”.
“I don’t condone procrastination, please bear with me on that and I won’t allow you to use me as your excuse in delaying the execution of your plan”.
“Noted”.
” Do you know one of my friends once nicknamed me “the electric executor”
“Waoh”
“We did a project together once and I was really on his neck until we fully implemented the project”.

The Reconciliation Part (56)
Tiwalade and James chatted heartily as they left Kotoka International Airport in Ghana, he came to pick James and Agnes at the airport and they left for the seaside resort that Tiwa has just built. They had a lot to catch on since Tiwa couldn’t make it to James’s wedding.
Suddenly Tiwa said,
“Lest I forget, please I need Agnes’s favour, kindly oblige me madam”.
“My favour sir?”.
“Yes, for just two hours on Wednesday I will like your husband to be one of our guests on a NetStar TV programme”.
“What? You didn’t even ask me if I will be interested, we are supposed to have a quiet moment here” James answered.
Tiwa turned to Agnes.
“Dear Mrs Lubiya, I only need your special permission and you will make my team happy, he has no choice here, do this special favour for me”.
Agnes looked at James, his face expressionless,
” Only on one condition sir “.
“Fire on”.
“I will be there too but behind the camera”.
“Done deal”.
“Really, darling, you don’t know Tiwa, once you agree to this, expect more, just don’t say I didn’t warn you”.
” Haba brother, don’t blackmail me, this time I will respect your privacy, I promise”
“Seriously and you want me to believe you’.
” I cross my heart”.
They entered the apartment prepared for them and Wunmi, Tiwa’s wife came to welcome them few minutes later.
Tiwa excused himself.
“Seems I have you seen you before, your face looks familiar”.
“Yes ma, I have seen you once too, you were…”
James coughed.
“Ladies, please you still have a lot of time to chat later. Wunmi, please where is the food I specially requested for? I am very hungry”.
“Please freshen up, your food is ready I just wonder why you love amala and ewedu.”
“One food I miss dearly since I lost Kate and my beloved mum. My best swallow since boarding school”.
” Well, I believe Agnes is up to the task”.
“Yes ma”.
” Where have you met Wunmi previously?”. James asked Agnes immediately Wunmi stepped out.

“She was at the fundraising organized by Madam Kate, I attended to her that day”. Agnes said.
“That’s true but please don’t reveal your family issues here”
“Darling, how can I?”
“I am just telling you, she is no doubt a wonderful woman but remember you are now sisters-in-law and you are the wife of the well respected James Lubiya”
“Yes sir”
“Can I ask for favour just like Tiwa did?”
“Seriously, favour request from two gentlemen in one day, Agnes you are a special breed”.
” I agree but I need you to assist in managing the NGO, I need someone to oversee the operation there, it will take some hours from you monthly “
Agnes kept quiet.
“Please don’t say no, we need to meet more children’s needs.”
“Mrs Johnson is doing a great job”
“I know but I need my wife to be involved, I need personal feedback”.
“Will she be okay with this arrangement?, she was reporting to Madam Kate before”
“Yes, my money goes there and my wife must be in the know, more so, you also worked closely with Kate, so you understand children’s ministry”.
” Okay, its fine”
The following evening, Agnes walked to the fountain of water in the resort.
She was about sitting when she heard a woman speaking,
“That one , I understand she was the former madam’s protegee”
“You mean errand girl”
“Yes o, how did she now become the wife now? I am sure she would have been desiring to be his wife a long time ago”
“When money dey nko?
