“Some Drama Ministers Need to Give Their Lives to Christ Again,” Filmmaker Blows Hot

A gospel filmmaker who specializes in continuity management, Ayo Cineman Olaleye has lamented that some drama ministers need to give their lives to Christ again and no one can deceive God.
He made this statement recently on his social media handle.
In an exclusive interview with Gospel Film News, Olaleye further disclosed that there are lots of issues in the drama ministry that are not supposed to be, saying when people hear pastor seeping with church members, stealing from the church treasure and other things there is fire on the mountain. And if people start hearing things like that in drama ministries too or among drama ministers too, (things that you should not hear from the house of God), it is time to call for a solemn assembly where issues will be trashed and pray together.
Just like in the olden days when the church started in the bible that everyone had things in common, if anyone had a house such person sells the house, bring it to the feet of the Apostles and if anyone has money such brings it to the feet of the Apostles and that is how Christianity should be practiced.
“I’ve heard things about people’s attitude. I’ve heard issues when someone is coming to learn a particular trade, craft from you and the person is spending three, four, five years without you revealing the truth of that work to the person, hiding some fact, hiding some technique from the person, so the person is just serving you and you are hiding what the person pay money to learn or what the person is spending his life under you to come and learn. You are hiding the secret of that business from the person and you are still enslaving the person to run errands for you and what the person deserve even under you, you rob the person of it.
“And if we can do all this things conveniently without the spirit of the Lord warning us or chastising us, or calling us to order, then there is a problem. If I can conveniently ride over my brother and I have no remorse, you know there is a problem with me, if I can conveniently lie to my brother, there is a problem with me, then I need to go back to the altar, I need to retreat, I need to ask God for forgiveness, I need to say what is wrong with me, can my spirit not detect there is something wrong with me,” Olaleye said.
He continued: “If we are all students of the scripture, like when we are doing our devotion today, it talks about the fear of God, that the fear of God is about obeying the word of God, if you fear the Lord, you will obey his commandments, if you fear the Lord you will hearken to his voice.”
The filmmaker stressed that the fear of God is about people hearken to the word of God, doing what the word of God is saying, adding that the word of God teaches a lot of things that is suppose to be our way of life but if a pastor, a Christian brother, a drama minister, a gospel music minister, etc falls victim of such, then something is wrong.
He disclosed that: “My post is generally to christians, forget the fact that I put drama ministers, I was specific about a particular division but it’s to all christians, if a Christian can conveniently, with no remorse lie to his/her spouse, you can lie in your little business, you can deceive and easily double play a person and you did not hear the spirit of the Lord telling you that this is not the way to go then there is a problem.”
According to him, Christians hide their faces from the reality and that is why it has eaten deep into the church of God and that’s why there are lots of issues in the church of God today. He reiterated that Christians hide their faces from the attitude of a brother and then make the person a Deacon, the person graduated from the deacon and becomes a pastor and begin to eat the sheep that are under him.
The person that become a pastor is supposed to be a Shepherd that will keep and watch over the sheep, but when he begins to eat the sheeps that are under him and suppose to watch over, then there is a problem.
“It started from the fact that we realized that this person has this weakness or this person is having issues and the person believe that all is well because there was no interview and prayer to God before we appointed him/her into the position and the person get into position, (the same with drama ministry, music ministry) to start misbehaving.
“First, you have to be genuinely born again, can your pastor says that this person is genuinely born again? We know him by his character, by his way of life.
“The Bible says ‘let your light shine before all men so that they can see your goods works, so can people talk about your good works. We need to call ourselves to order, because we are waiting for the second coming of Christ so that our case will not be like the five virgins that are waiting for the second coming of Christ but they are not prepared, so that it will not end up that many drama ministers that are doing drama, have a lot of dark drama, horror drama in their wardrobe and at the end of the day the trumpet will sound and they will not make it, so I don’t want us to be the foolish virgins, let us all be wise, if you play trick with God it does not make you wise, it makes you foolish. If you play hide and sick with God it does not make you wise, it makes you foolish.
God has given us ways and pattern to live our lives, we should learn our ways of life from the scripture, we should not learn our ways of life from what people are doing, culture, tradition, or the norms, we should learn our ways of life from the scripture,” he concluded.
