“Revelation Produces Revolution”- Ebenezer Bayo Abraham

“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,” Eph 1:17.
Every child of God must be ready, willing, eager and take steps to grow in the Lord. We must not be contented with being called a believer; rather, we must strive to grow to the full statue of Christ.
We must take every necessary step to grow “till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;” Eph. 4:13.
This is because there are hidden mysteries we must know as believers. Such secret things make us to be different from those who don’t know Christ. Even, among believers, these will make us stand out and be outstanding.
These include, mystery of the kingdom, mystery of the gospel, mystery of the unsearchable riches of God, mystery of Christ and the church, mystery of God’s glory among the gentiles, mystery of the faith, mystery of godliness, mystery of His will, mystery of the seven stars at the right hand of Jesus, mystery of God Himself, etc.
New testament mentioned twenty six of them. Each of them needs the revelation from the Lord.
They are all kept secret by the Lord. It is the children bread, they are not meant for the dogs. Matt 15:26.
Before you can begin to enjoy it, you must be genuinely born again. Many claim to be born again or be members of denominations without knowing the Lord. The Lord said they are dogs who don’t deserve the bread meant for His children.
Secondly, determine to fear the Lord by leaving iniquities behind you as you approach the Lord and live in Him.
“The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant.” Psalms 25:14.
Thirdly, the Lord’s mysteries are not on the surface lest it be trampled upon. You’ve got to search them out. “It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.” Proverbs 25:2.
Lastly, God’s grace is made available to all His children but we still have to labour to access them. 1 Cor. 15:10.
These mysteries enlighten, fortify and make us unbreakable to the devil and the world system. At the end, they help us to end well and end strong.
In summary, it is the revelation of God’s mysteries that will produce the kind of revolution believers need to make the gospel alive everywhere and everytime.
Prayer: Father, let the revelation of your mysteries produce the revolution I need to be different in Jesus name.
