RCCG Texas To Host African Mission Academic Contest, Set To Gives About 8 Million Naira To Secondary School Students In Nigeria

The Redeemed Christian Church of God, The King’s Palace, Texas will be hosting an African Mission Academic Contest and give about 8 million naira (8,000,000) to secondary school students, Gospel Film News can confirm.

The goal is to provide support for families and students facing hardship in paying for their education in the midst of the current recession.

This is a platform where Nigeria’s brightest young minds come together, breaking barriers and reaching for the crown despite financial hardships.

“The 4D-Crown Academic Talent Hunt Initiative and Mission Support Team of RCCG The King’s Palace presents the maiden edition of our intra African country academic challenge called African Missions Academic Contest Season 1. The first edition shall focus on the country NIGERIA! An initiative providing a beacon of hope and opportunity for SENIOR SECONDARY students across the continent,” the team lead disclosed to Gospel Film News.

The team lead who’s also a Gospel film maker cum drama minister revealed that The Contest is open to only Senior Secondary Students from SSS1-SSS3 and advices that drama ministers should take an advantage of the opportunity alongside any parents needing the help.

He added that the contest opens on the 1st of March, at 12am GMT with a call to submit an entry essay.

“Only 200 hundred applicants are allowed. For applying you get an entry bonus of ten thousand naira (N10,000) academic mission support fund. March 10th to 15th, 2024 will feature the 1st round, during which we will shortlist 100 applicant who will receive #20,000 additional academic mission support fund. The second round is on the 30th of March, featuring Kahoot LIVE competition which will emerge 50 winners receiving #30,000 per person. The 3rd round will run from April 8th to 13th 2024, during which a balloon debate will help shortlist 10 finalist, who will receive #40,000 in academic mission support fund.

“The Grand finale will feature and stream live during our annual 4D-Crown Talent Hunt Academic Event on the 22nd of April 2024, during which 5 winners will emerge with following academic mission support funds of N100 000 for 5th Place, N200,000 for 4th place, N300,000 for 3rd place, N400,000 for 2nd place and a whooping half a million for 1st place. This isn’t just a contest; it’s a life-changing opportunity to drive your career, earn recognition and financial support to further your education into your God given dream,” he stated.

The African Missions Academic Contest is more than a competition. It’s a testament to the resilience, creativity, and brilliance of Africa’s youth, starting from Nigeria. But more than that it is a mission initiative to provide the needed support for our students in these trying times.

He states that, whereas, the first editions focuses on Nigeria, the hope is to spread the mission reach to the whole continent of Africa, soonest.

Application opens for 10 days starting from 1st of March to 10th of March 2024. Application will close by 11:59pm on the 10th GMT.
