PHOTO NEWS: Nigeria Christian Corpers’ Fellowship Lagos Chapter Produces, Premieres Movie after 36 Years of Attempt

Nigeria Christian Corpers’ Fellowship, NCCF Lagos Chapter has finally produced and premiered a movie after thirty six (36) years of attempt. This mile stone achievement is like a thousand bubbles burst.


The movie entitled “Ife-Mi” was shot in July and premiered same month at the Lagos NCCf Family house, Abule-Egba.


The NCCF Drama Director who is also the producer, Jerome Udoka Ebinum told Gospel Film News that NCCF has made a lot of attempts to produce at least one movie since 36 years ago but all efforts by previous administrations proved abortive. He stressed that some skits were shot but none of them scale through post production stage not to talk of showing it to an audience. He however gives glory to God for this achievement, adding that it’s not by his power.


“Ife Mi” is a 55 minutes movie that captivated the mind of the audience via its story telling mechanism. It portrays the life of a young Corp Member, Damilola who is in love with a promising radiant and supportive lady; Ife Mi. Damilola is full of vision and passion for impacting younger generation. The light of their love began to get dim when Damilola was deployed to a remote area in Badagry Local Government as his Place of Primary Assignment to serve his father land. Something very strange later happened along the line which serves as a great lesson for all singles. “Ife Mi” movie reveals details of all that happened.


At the premiere, the audience was wow as almost all the scenes captured their attention. Comments from some selected audience after the premiere shows that the movie really passed a strong message to them and will go a long way to bless lives.


Gospel Filmmaker and Novelist who made the Special Appearance, Evangelist Opeyemi Ojerinde Akintunde, in her remark commended the efforts of the producer, director and every other cast and crew members, noting that the story was packaged excellently and laced with creative camera shots. Akintunde added that she might cast some of the actors in her next movie as she was pleased with their acting.


For his part, Gospel Film News publisher, Oluwafemi Dosu stated that the movie “Ife Mi” is really a nice and captivating movie which will go a long way in blessing lives across board. He further advised youths to learn from the message of the movie, ensure they are in relationship with right partner and not to ignore red signals while in courtship before jumping into marriage.


The premiere was well attended by Youth Corp Members serving in Lagos who were gorgeously dressed, senior friends of the NCCF, clerics, amongst others.
