Mount Zion Institute in Affliation with Ajayi Crowther University To Hold A Week Long Convocation Ceremony

One of the foremost Christian Drama Institute in Nigeria, Mount Zion Institute of Christian Drama in affiliation with Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo will hold a week long convocation ceremony this month, Gospel Film News reports.

The Institute which was established thirty-one years ago is well known for training and Impacting People who have the vision for Christian drama and film production all over the world by making them understand more about their visions and assignments.

The Director of the Institute, Evangelist Mike Bamiloye in a statement he personally signed and obtained by Gospel Film News revealed that the Convocation will hold from Monday, November 28th to December 2nd, 2022 with different activities lined up to commemorate the week long event.



Bamiloye stated that the Convocation week will begin Monday, 28th November with a Convocation of Awards of Honour to some Graduating Students during the morning session while there will be Zion Royal Theatre, a theatrical stage performance of Olumide Oki’s ‘The Night of Ijalo’ by the Streams 2 and 3 of the Academic Diploma Students of the Institute during the Evening Session on the same day at Jogor Centre, Ring Road Ibadan.



On Tuesday 29th November, 2022, there will be Induction of some MZI Diploma Graduates to the Associate Membership of Mount ZION ACADEMY FOR RESEARCH ON CHRISTIAN MEDIA ARTS and Award of Executive Professional Certificate, EPC in Christian Drama Arts to Stream 1 Diploma Students who successfully completed their 10 research works during the Morning Session while there will be Zion Royal Theatre, a theatrical stage performance of Mike Bamiloye’s ‘Darkest Night’ by the Streams 1 and 4 of the Academic Diploma Students of the Institute during the Evening Session on the same day at Jogor Centre, Ring Road, Ibadan.

Similarly, on Wednesday, November 30, there will be a biblical historical story theatrically traditionalized by the Zion Royal Theatre of the Mount Zion Institute of Christian Drama during the morning session, while there will be a Movie Night showing ‘Alaseju’ a biblical historical story theatrically traditionalized by the Alpha Set of the Academic Diploma of the MZI-ACU during the evening session at Global Harvest Church Auditorium, Beside Jogor Centre, Ring Road, Ibadan.

Bamiloye said the event will be rounded off on Friday, December 2 with the Graduation Ceremony of Stream 1 and 2 students of the Institute at Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo City, Oyo State in the morning while the Graduation Thanksgiving Service will be held at the Drama Ministers Power Night during the evening Session on the same day at Jogor Centre, Ring Road, Ibadan, Oyo State.
