Mount Zion Institute in Affiliation with Ajayi Crowther University Matriculates Pioneer Students

The Mount Zion Institute of Christian Drama in affiliation with Ajayi Crowther University has matriculated the pioneer set of students in performing arts (Christian Drama).
The matriculation was done today 21st of October, 2021 at Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo State. Drama Ministers spotted among the students at the matriculation ceremony includes Adedeji Adekusibe, Victor Olukoju, Tobi Olumuyiwa, Olumide Oki, John Oguntuase, Felix Bankole, Sunday Adetoro, Omolara Ayoola, Segun Badejo, Festus Dairo among others.
Evangelist Mike Bamiloye and his wife, Evangelist Gloria Bamiloye were in attendance as Mike Bamiloye presented the students to university management.
Recall that in July, 2020 Gospel Film News break the news of both institute (Mount Zion Institute of Christian Drama and Ajayi Crowther University) affiliation. Report has it that the affiliation was approved in year 2020 by the university senate which enable both organizations to work together.
Mount Zion Institute of Christian Drama run by foremost Christian film actor, script writer and director, Evang. Mike Bamiloye was affiliated to the Department of Performing Arts and Music of the University.
Ajayi Crowther University’s Senate approved the affiliation following an application from the Mount Zion Institute and visit by a panel from the University to inspect facilities in the institute, and certify that the institute has the requisite staff and facilities to run the Programme of the University, Gospel Film News can confirm.
The Vice- Chancellor, Rt. Rev. Prof. who Chaired in the University Senate’s first meeting at the permanent site on Oyo-Ogbomoso road, said the institute was one of the foremost Christian Drama institutions in the country, and given that Ajayi Crowther University is founded by the Church, it was fit and proper that the approves the affiliation.
Proprietor of the institute, Mike Bamiloye and his team, had earlier visited the University to express his desire for the affiliation. By the approval of the University’s Senate, the institute will now offer certificates, Diploma and degree Programmes of the Department of Performing Arts and Music.
Admission into Mount Zion Institute of Christian Drama in affiliation with Ajayi Crowther University for 2020/2021 Academic session has began in August, 2020.
The Mount Zion Institute of Christian Drama, MZI in August 2020 invited applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its Certificate and Diploma Programmes for the 2020/2021 academic session and a number of interested candidates applied.
This affiliation offers:
* 1. ACADEMIC DIPLOMA in Performing Arts (Christian Drama)
with a minimum duration of four (4) semesters in twelve (12) months.
* 2. PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA in Performing Arts (Christian Drama) with a duration of four (4) semesters within twelve (12) months.
* 3. PRODESSIONAL CERTIFICATE in Performing Arts (Christian Drama) with a duration of the programme is four (4) months.
