It was an exciting moment at the premiere of ‘Not an Orphan’ movie as legendary gospel film makers, Mike Bamiloye, Gloria Bamiloye, Senior Special Assistance to the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Leke Adeboye representing Pastor E. A Adeboye, the Assistant General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor J. F Odesola and other dignitaries were present.
Gospel Film News can confirm to you that the film premiere which started around 2pm on Sunday 16th of December, 2018 opened with prayer and little praises from the choiristers, followed by chairman’s speech and straight to screening of the film.
The premiere was held at the National Headquarters of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG Throne of Grace, Ebutte Metta, Lagos.
Our correspondent who was live at the premiere disclosed that the auditorium used for the premiere which is more than five thousand (5000) sitting capacity was almost full to the brim.
While giving his speech, the chief launcher cum chairman of the occasion, Pastor Onanuga appreciated the Executive Producer, Pastor Johnson Odesola and the entire production team for deeming it fit to bring up such a message of hope to the World. He also encouraged people to donate generously to the project as the film is a huge budget project.
For his part, legendary film maker, Evangelist Mike Bamiloye who was grateful to God noted that the message of the film is fulfilling the gospel of Jesus, healing the broken hearted, adding that the film will be a healing balm to many people who are broken hearted and lonely.
Bamiloye stated that the film has multiple message, praying that God will send the message to every corner of the land, use it for the church and Holy Spirit will decode and distribute the message in the heart to everyone who see it.
He also thanked the Executive Producer, Pastor J. F Odesola who is also the Assistant General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God for devoting his time to Christian Drama and speaking to the whole world behind camera apart from preaching on the pulpit.
The Director and Producer of the film, Evang.(Mrs.) Nike Aderemi-Fashikun was grateful to God for the success of the production which was shot in Nigeria and Dubai, saying there were many challenges but God took control.
It was obvious at the premiere that the audience enjoyed the movie as there were round of applause at interval in the course of the film screening.
The film has outstanding acting, perfect camera works, costumes and every other element of filming. ‘Not an Orphan’ will be available nationwide very soon.
