Melita Movie Is A Great Production Of This Time, You Have Never Seen Anything Close To It Before, Says Gospel Actor

A female gospel actor, Director of Trinity Communications and coordinator of Faith Lift Productions, Evang. Adenike Aderemi-Fashikun has applauded soon to be released movie, “Melita,” saying it is a great production of this time.
Aderemi-Fashikun added that people have never seen anything close to the movie before.
This she said on the location of the movie in an exclusive interview with Gospel Film News.
The female actor stated that she really blessed God for the privilege to be on Melita set, saying the production is an epic, bringing in a lot of people from different places and they had a very wonderful time together in the village where the movie was shot.
In her words, “The entire story brings us back to the earliest time of the missionary in this part of the world, and getting into character, the lines, costumes, giving a kind of feeling of what the people that were around back then went through. I could see when they were giving some people costumes to wear and some were saying ‘can I really go on set like this, I want to cover myself, I want to do this,’ but we thank God for the whole project.”
Speaking on her role, she disclosed that her role in Melita film project is someone who had encounter with Christ, who became a disciple because of a particular problem of her daughter being sick and was healed, she got that encounter with Christ through that particular intervention of God healing her child.
“It was a significant role in the movie and I could relate with that because many of our fore-fathers who became Christian actually came to Christ because God gave them a victory and after they believed they started following as believer,” she reiterated.
Aderemi-Fashikun who’s one of the few female movie directors in Nigeria said the director of Melita movie, Evangelist David Kola-Okeowo has been a big brother to her and she had privilege working with him for more than 2 decades now and she do say it in earliest time that one of the very best directors she has ever worked with is Evangelist Kola-Okeowo because of his nature of directing.
According to her, Kola-Okeowo makes actors comfortable in whatever role they are given to bring out their best.
“I want to say kudos to him on this (Melita), it’s a lot of work bringing everybody together and having to coordinate with the help of other crew on set, it’s been wonderful. Although coming down to a place like this and coming out of your personality to look like those people in those days and all that but all to the glory of God, we’ve enjoyed ourselves, we’ve seen people coming up in different characters and roles that were given, it’s awesome, and I want to assure you that this particular film, you have never seen anything close to Melita before. I want to encourage you to be on the look out for this film Melita, I promise you it’s going to be very loud because of everything that is put into the whole production, it promises to be a great production, I assure you will enjoy it, God bless you,” she stressed.
