The minister of God who preached at the wedding of Mike Bamiloye’s daughter, Darasimi and firebrand music minister, Lawrence Oyor, Reverend Solomon Adebara of Fountain of Grace Ministries has openly stated that marriage is not designed to make anyone happy.

He shared this while giving secret of a lasting relationship. He noted that Marriage is a transformer, saying your marriage is your first church; it’s your first home, adding that marriage was not designed to make you happy but Christ like, Gospel Film News correspondent reports.

The cleric further said happiness is transit and if anyone allows God to have the center of their life they will not only be happy but be transformed, stressing that marriage is to draw out the nature and power of God in individual and help grow their vision. Marriage according to him is also a magnifier.

Rev. Adebara also admonished Darasimi and Lawrence to make God center of their marriage, saying biblical marriage is between a man, a woman and the God who brought them together.

He thereby says making God the center of one’s marriage means obeying God’s leadership, it also means that no important decision will be taken without taking it through God, which implies that couples will choose to pray together, respect, honour and treat your spouse other well.

Reverend Adebara finally  counseled the couple to Find time to study word of God, Schedule time to read inspirational books, Find a great church where they can be committed, Filled their homes with specking artifacts about God, Keep and nurture friends striving to go where they want to go, Practice being in the presence of God daily, and Care for each other.
