Make up Artist, Caroline Oyejide Bags Master Degree in Education

One of talents in the gospel film industry and a makeup artist, Evangelist Caroline Oyejide has bagged Masters Degree from Lagos State University.

Oyejide convocated alongside other graduands on Wednesday 23rd of March 2022.

The makeup expert started the Masters program in the year 2020, though there was interruption in-between due to Covid 19 out break, so, during the pandemic they engaged in online lectures.

In an exclusive interview session with Gospel Film News she disclosed that she had a lot of challenges during the course of the program such as late submission of assignment, sometimes she will be on film location and won’t be able to meet up with the submission deadline. She added that she also encountered Network failure especially when out of Lagos.

Time Factor, according to her was also a challenge; combine work, school and film locations, then, monetary cost.


While narrating how she balanced the academics with film locations, she revealed that she was able to balance between the Masters program and film locations with the help of God and a great determination, saying “as a drama minister, we are working for God, weather crew or cast, some of us are called by God while some are into the ministry through passion. The main priority is to proclaim CHRIST.”

When asked why Masters in Education, she said she went into teaching after her secondary School to get busy and to make money, while she waited for jamb. Later she fell in love with teaching, and teaching turned to hubby, now passion.

“I’m praying and working towards a vision which is to have my own School. My victory massage is to encourage people not to look down or lose hope. Just focus on God and believe in your dreams. Though the road may be rough, stressful and painful but, there’s victory at the end,” she added.
