Drama and Film School has been a strong part of Drama Evangelism in Nigeria over the years. Ever since the inception of Mount Zion Institute of Christian Drama in 1995 many Drama School has also emerged in Nigeria, training gospel Film Makers year in year out.
However, very few of these schools are known. It will interest you to know that there are more than 20 Christian Drama/Film schools in Nigeria.

CGEDRAM DRAMA & FILM ACADEMY (CDFA)
Brief History:
CGEDRAM DRAMA & FILM ACADEMY (CDFA) is the training arm of CGEDRAM GLOBAL NETWORK, an independent drama and film production ministry based in Lagos. CDFA stated since 2010, and since has graduated some students. The school runs both mobile and staylite campus models.
It officially runs twice in a year, 3rd and 4th week in the month of March and 3rd and 4th week in the month of October every year.

Brief History
BIFT is a mobile film school that was established in 2013. We have graduated over 100 students across the country. Our mobile lecturers have toured cities like Abuja, Asaba, Benin, Enugu, Badagry, Kana, Sokoto, Uyo, Jos e.t.c. We train prospective Film Makers in Acting, script writing Cinematography, Editing, Make-up, Continuity, Production management, Costume and Directing.

BRIEF HISTORY
The PEACEMAKERS DRAMA/FILM COLLEGE was established in 1999 according to the Commission in 2 Timothy 2:2.
The Commission has led to raising over 1,500 Soldiers for the Lord in the Drama and Film Making Ministry across Africa (Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa and Swaziland).

Brief history
BAJAEM Intl Institute of Christian Arts (BIOCA) is an arm of BAJAEM INTL (barrack of Jesus Army Evangelistic Ministries where we train people in gospel drama, film and music production arts and came to an existence in the year 2001 in the city of Okeigbo in Ondo state. After training some set of students, the ministry was led to relocate to Abeokuta Ogun state where we started a fresh in 2016 with about 50 students graduating. Up till now we have many students to proof as a students of the school.

About
The Mount Zion Institute of Christian Drama is spiritual defense academy that unifies and spiritually empowers drama ministers in all nations, by helping the drama ministers, after training, to stay united informing an association with same visions and goals in their various churches and cities.
“And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.” 2 Timothy 2:2.
The verse above stands to be the base of the vision given to us by the Lord to establish The Mount Zion Institute of Christian Drama.
What God Has Done!
The Institute took off on July 5th 1991 at the then Mount Zion Faith Ministries Int’l secretariat, Aserifa-Ola Layout, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. The Institite was held in various venues up until November 2002, when the Institute moved to its permanent site at Habitation of Faith (The Mount Zion Training and Retreat Centre), located at Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria.
Over to 5000 students have graduated from the Mount Zion Institute of Christian Drama courses held in, Nigeria; London, UK; Arlington, Dallas; Winnipeg, Canada. In Nigeria, the MZICD has impacted in the lives of many Drama Ministers, and the traces of its blessing can be found in many ministries and many churches. Larger percentage of Christian movies makers and actors in Nigeria are alumni of Mount Zion Institute. Four of the Six members of the Board of trustees of All Nigeria conference of Evangelical Drama (ANCEDRAM) are alumni of The Mount Zion Institute of Christian Drama; out of the Five past Presidents of ANCEDRAM, from 1996 till 2010, Four of them are members of the Mount Zion Institute Alumni Association.
The institute recorded a great milestone in August 2020 when she affiliated with Ajayi Crowther University Oyo. This gave the institute the awesome opprotunity to offer Diploma and Bachelor of Arts in Performing Arts Christian Drama.

TRECOM FILM SCHOOL formerly known as TRECOM COLLEGE OF TECHNICAL AND FILM STUDIES (TRECOTS) was established in 2004. CHRISTOLINE FILM ACADEMY
In August 2000, he set up Christoline Film Academy (CFA) for training drama evangelists on Christian movie making and film production. Since then they have trained over 600 students in the art of film-making.
Before they started the training school they realised that a lot of the cameramen they were hiring then always sneaked out to smoke hemp or drink beers whenever they wanted to shoot their movies, because they weren’t born again.
So, they decided to start an academy where we could train professional cameramen, make-up artistes and other filmmakers who were already born again Christians. They brought in Christian professionals like: Dr Doyin Hassan, Ralph Mustapha, Pastor Segun Bankole and so on, to come and be training our people.
Today, “after over 20years of being in this training business, Christoline has produced a lot of filmmakers who are doing well. Now they have alumni in almost every Christian film locations. The likes of Abayomi Ojo, Sesan Afolayan, and many others who are doing well now.

Vision School of Christian Drama
Vision School of Christian Drama is a Drama and Film Academy based in Abuja Nigeria with inception in the year 2012. It has a mobile School which is run by Drama Missions Campaign, which travels around the Globe to train and raise Drama Armies.
