Liers lying in the waiting by Mike Bamiloye
Judges 16:7-9 KJV
[7] And Samson said unto her, If they bind me with seven green withs that were never dried, then shall I be weak, and be as another man.
[8] Then the lords of the Philistines brought up to her seven green withs which had not been dried, and she bound him with them.
[9] Now there were men lying in wait, abiding with her in the chamber. And she said unto him, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he brake the withs, as a thread of tow is broken when it toucheth the fire. So his strength was not known.
Judges 16:11-12 KJV
[11] And he said unto her, If they bind me fast with new ropes that never were occupied, then shall I be weak, and be as another man.
[12] Delilah therefore took new ropes, and bound him therewith, and said unto him, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And there were liers in wait abiding in the chamber. And he brake them from off his arms like a thread.
Before Samson was born, he had been anointed and consecrated in the womb to be a deliverer and savior of the nation of Israel. The angel who brought the message from the throne of God had given the parents all necessary instructions needed to preserve the anointing and the consecration of the baby: the baby was a Nazarite unto God, dedicated and consecrated for God to begin the deliverance of Israel from the hands of the Philistines. (Judges 13:5).
Even the mother who carried him in her womb was instructed to keep herself holy unto God never to eat any unclean things or even drink wine or any strong things in order not to tamper with the anointing of the child in the womb. (Judges 13:13-14)

[13] And the angel of the Lord said unto Manoah, Of all that I said unto the woman let her beware.
[14] She may not eat of any thing that cometh of the vine, neither let her drink wine or strong drink, nor eat any unclean thing : all that I commanded her let her observe.
Then the child was born and the blessing and the power of the Lord was upon him right from childhood. The Bible says that many times, while he was growing up the power of God would move him to do some astounding things with the power in him.
But where did Samson miss it?
HE WAS NOT CAREFUL ABOUT THE CALLING AND THE ANOINTING OF GOD UPON HIS LIFE.
HE WAS CARRYING THE ANOINTING AND LIVING IN SINS AT THE SAME TIME.
But the most important aspect of Samson’s story is that:
THERE WERE LIERS IN THE WAITING ALL ALONG, WATCHING FOR ANY MOMENT TO CAPTURE HIM AND BIND HIM.
In Gaza, when he went into a harlot’s house and stayed there till the middle of the night, there were LIERS who came and waited to capture him in the middle of the night. But he came out of the bedroom of the harlot and found out the gate of the city had been locked. As the LIERS were closing in on him, he grabbed the gate and shook it and pulled the pillars out of the ground and carried the whole gates and bars up on his shoulders to the top of a hill in Hebron. He escaped from the hands of the LIERS. It would take them time to be able to mount up another gate.
Even before that time, when he went to woo a Philistine girl in Timnath, THERE WAS A LION IN THE WAITING…which he faced and killed within a short time. He escaped the LIERS in the waiting while wooing a girl from the enemy camp.
When he fell in love with Delilah of the Philistines, and she began to beg him to show her how he could be bound and afflicted, on each of the three occasions of the binding and breaking loose, there were LIERS hiding in the inner chamber, unknown to Samson, WAITING for an avenue to bind him and afflict him. And on each occasion, he would arise and break loose from the bondage.
HE CONTINUED PLAYING AND TOYING WITH THIS ANOINTING AND GRACE TILL THE POWER OF GOD LEFT HIM UNKNOWN TO HIM.
When his seven locks were to be shaven, it was one of the LIERS in the waiting that brought a razor to Delilah.
THE LIERS IN THE WAITING ARE ALWAYS WAITING FOR AS LONG AS IT WOULD TAKE TO CAPTURE, BIND AND AFFLICT AN ANOINTED PERSON OF THE LORD.
The LIERS in the waiting would not rest….from being in the waiting.
The LIERS in the waiting would not be tired of lying in the waiting…
Their MANDATE is to get the anointed down till he is Captured…and Bound.
1 Peter 5:8 KJV
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
With all the visions and callings you carry on your head; with all the great things the Lord has planned to do in your life, DONT EVER FORGET THAT THERE ARE FORCES OF EVIL LYING IN THE WAITING TO CAPTURE THE ANOINTED AND THE CALLED OF GOD…TO BIND AND AFFLICT HIM.
I have a message for all those who are anointed and called of God to do great things for the Lord, who have been escaping from the LIERS in the waiting after committing various sins and acts of ungodliness, to stop before the Power of the Lord depart from their life without them knowing. They would not know when they would eventually be captured and bound at last.
I have a message for all who are called and anointed from the womb of their mothers to be great prophets and all those anointed with great ministries to carry the destinies of millions of souls upon their head, to desist from toying with the sins and acts of unrighteousness, BECAUSE THERE ARE ALWAYS LIERS IN THE WAITING watching and stalking every move of the Lord’s Anointed in their campuses, offices, homes, and on the street.
The LIERS in the waiting are never tired of waiting.
