As participants at the Lagos ANCEDRAM congress are basking in the atmosphere of impartation of anointing and learning, an influential drama evangelist and church growth minister, Evangelist Adedeji Adekusibe has disclosed that leadership is not anointing neither is it a position.

Adekusibe who was teaching on ‘Drama Ministry Administration and Leadership’ revealed that drama ministry is God’s ministry which must be handled with care, adding that how skillful we are in the ministry God has laid in our hands will determine how we administer it.

Gospel Film News correspondent who was live at the programme reports that he further enumerated three major areas drama ministry requires proper administration which includes Administer the men (women included), Administer the money and Administer your material.

“Leadership begins with service which can involve use of your time, knowledge, resources and treasure. There is need for genuine leaders in the drama ministry of today. Leadership is influence. Leadership is the ability to translate vision into reality. Leadership is trust because trust is the emotional glue that binds the leaders and the followers together. Leadership is integrity is production. Leadership is empowering people. Leadership is living what you preach. Your life is your leadership,” he stated.

He however added that leadership is not title, age, status, nor packaging, saying as a leader, you attract who you are.

Adekusibe finally revealed six ‘vitamin L’ of Leadership as:
“Life: The power behind your leadership is the power behind your life.
Look: Genuine leaders look to see (deeper & higher).
Love: As leaders, we must genuinely love people. John Maxwell said ‘People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.’
Listen: Leaders don’t always do the talk, they Listen to God first and they listen to the followers.
Limit: As a leader, do all you can to remove your limitations.
Learning: if you stop learning you begin to lean.”
