Lagos ANCEDRAM commences annual congress

The Lagos state chapter of All Nigeria Conference of Evangelical Drama Ministers, ANCEDRAM has commenced her annual congress.

 

Gospel Film News correspondent who is at the congress reports that the congress which started around 6pm already had participants on ground. It was also gathered that participants trooped in from different parts of Lagos.

 

It may interest you to know that veteran film maker, Evangelist Shola Mike Agboola will be joining the programme and welcomed in grand style. The association’s Western Vice President, Evangelist Olufemi Olusina is already in Lagos to witness and minister at the 15^th congress.

 

Our correspondent also gathered that the first national president of the association, Pastor Moses Makinde alongside other stakeholders in the state will be joining the congress later today. The congress is currently holding at Christ Apostolic Church, Ibudo Olodumare, Ita Oluwo, Lagos state.

 

In his address, the chairman of the association, Evangelist Isaac Yemi Afolahan appreciates God for an opportunity to gather this year, saying it was a year ago that members gather at Lekki in Ajah for a congress and blessed God for his saving grace and protection.

 

“All participants of the 14^th congress held in Ajah with the theme CONTEND FOR THE FAITH will agreed with me that it was an epoch-making congress. The presence of God was heavy upon the programme and its aftermath placed a seal upon our lives that resulted in the series of increment and varieties of success recorded throughout the year in our individual lives, ministries and the association in general,” he added.

 

Afolahan while speaking on this year’s theme stressed that whoever has witnessed the task force operations of government agencies like NAFDAC, NFVCB, LASBCA, LASSA etc. against unapproved products and services will appreciate and see the veracity of this year’s theme- APPROVED MINISTER, adding that there is nothing disastrous than to labour where you are not assigned or welcomed, saying it is also a total waste and a colossal loss to assume you are on the right part and at the end you find out you have been traveling in the opposite direction.

 

“Approved or to be approved simply means to receive an official endorsement and pronouncement or acceptability that something is suitable or someone is good and fit for a service. It connotes positive opinion and official authorization that someone’s service has passed through all the required tests melted for a standard,” he said.
