The veteran UK based gospel film maker, Evangelist Kola David Okeowo is calling on gospel film makers to give their films enough publicity and media hype.
This was contained in a statement he released today 10th of January, 2019.
In the statement he titled “THAT OUR MESSAGES MAY FLY,” Okeowo stressed that it’s one thing to do your best to package a great film, Its another thing for that film to go viral and bless multitude of souls, saying the more people get to watch gospel films, the more souls are potentially blessed.
Gospel Film News gathered that the veteran noted that knowing what gospel filmmaker do to make sure God’s messages are produced into films, he believes it is equally important that the anointed & well packaged messages must reach as many people as possible.
He reiterated that filmmakers should not be satisfied with limited audiences, challenging them to trust God to open mighty doors for gospel films, emphasizing that the world needs these messages.
“As I watch many Christian films, I am burdened in my heart as to how the world will hear of these great messages and be blessed. Many of these messages are awesome, but are limited in their reach/spread. On our own we can only do so much.
THE MESSAGES NEED TO BE GIVEN WINGS TO FLY. THE MESSAGES NEED TO BE TAKEN OUT OF OUR HANDS BY THE HOLY SPIRIT AND SPREAD ALL OVER THE WORLD,” he said.
Okeowo further disclosed that Just recently he watched one of such films on a recently created online channel (OGONGO TV), saying the film is titled IRANSE OBA which he had watched before and he was part of the production (full disclosure) yet it felt new to him.
“For me, it is one of the greatest messages of all time. And this is not a hype. It was produced in 2015. Yet I do not know how many have watched this great movie. Or how many have even heard about it. And I believe this is the same with many of the great, anointed and excellently packaged messages that God has given to many Christian film producers,” he added.
He concluded by praying that: “As we travail in the place of prayers to receive messages from God. As we go out of our way to sacrificially give God our best in producing these messages. May the Lord Himself give wings to these messages to fly in Jesus name.”
