INTERVIEW: Why I published book on Sexual Matters- Omolara Ayoola
Popular Female Actor, Evang. Omolara Ayoola PMH recently published a book on Sexual Matters and the book was directed at ladies especially. In this exclusive Interview with Gospel Film News, Omolara disclosed why she wrote and published such book, her plans on the book, amongst others. Excerpt:
People Know you for acting, why the switch to publishing a book?
Yes, apart from acting I am also a social worker. I have a ministry cum NGO named WALL FOUNDATION. It’s a place where we raise ladies of worth and character. You can check our website for details. www.wallfoundations.org.
We counsel a lot of ladies on different issues of life, especiallly on sexual issues. And so God inspired me to put in a book some of the things He has put in my mind to tell the ladies. The book was actually long overdue. Therefore, I thank God it’s out now. So it’s not like I switched to book publishing. Lol. I just needed to reach more people by putting thoughts inspired by God into a book.
The book was released this week, what’s the actual purpose of writing the book and publishing?
Like I said I am a person used by God to counsel young people. So in order to reach more people I decided to put my thoughts on the pages of a book. Also I write daily tips on Sexual matters, these are short words to help ladies know how to comport themselves Sexually. So I decided to expantiate on each of the daily tips so as to help them understand each tip better than it is. Another purpose is to help our young ladies to be wise and learn from other people’s experiences, so they won’t make same errors over and over again to protect their destiny.
Why didn’t you make the story in the book a movie as people tend to believe in what they see more thank what they hear?
We have some of them already in short script to be shot next year.
Is the book gender selective? Because we can see “wisdom for ladies on sexual matters” on it. Does that mean men shouldn’t read?
The book is directed to the female gender because they are more at the receiving end when it comes to sexuality. And they are the ones who come for counselling more. But of course guys can also get sense from it.
