Ilorin Agog as Victory Drama Group Holds 30th edition of Festival of Christian Drama

The entire state capital of Kwara State, Ilorin has Agog for the 30th edition of Festival of Christian Drama organized by Victory Drama Group, Ilorin.

 

Gospel Film News correspondents present at the event report that the drama festival which was held on Sunday 26th December, 2021 in Ilorin, Kwara State scoops participants from nooks and crannies of Ilorin, people from Abuja, Lagos as well as Ibadan.

 

It may interest you to know that the event which supposed to start by 4pm started earlier because multitudes have started trooping in since 9am and well seated.

 

In his speech, the president of Victory Drama Group, Reverend Yemi Adepoju appreciated everyone who has been supporting the event one way or the other for years. He revealed that the annual event couldn’t hold last year and 1994, saying In 1994 God asked the drama group to go from one church to the other to appreciate God for all He has done for them, and last year 2020 the event couldn’t hold physically but online because of COVID-19 lockdown.

 

Adepoju, while recounting some achievements in 2021 disclosed that In October the drama group held an outreach in Benin Republic. He further added that a 12 year old daughter of the ministry, Shinayomi Fadiji did editing (first cut) of the latest film, “Bottled Up” which was premiered at the festival, adding that Victor Adepoju (last son of Yemi and Feyi Adepoju) also directed a film which won an award in year 2021, Gospel Film News learnt.

 

The Prophetic Declaration session was also a session that caught rapt attention of the participants as they screamed “Amen” at intervals. The prophetic declarations were done by different annointed men of God from Rom 9:15-16, Psalm 126, Isaiah 60:1-3, Deut 28:11-13, Psalm 20:1-2, Jeremiah 29:11-12, and Ezekiel 12:21-23. While making his declaration, popular filmmaker, Evangelist Shola Mike Agboola charged the participants to always respond Amen to every word of prayers as the mouth is the policeman of the destiny.

 

 

Part of the event was a spontaneous spoken word by a 10 year old girl, Joan Solomon, powerful song ministrations by Abundant Life Church choir, and song Ministration by Joel Shiloh Adalumo

 

The latest movie of the drama group was also premiered. Dignitaries present include Evang. Shola and Adegbayike Agboola, Olufemi Olusina and wife, Ayobami and Bimpe Adegboyega, Kehinde Adebayo and husband, amongst others.
