How ANCEDRAM President Escaped Kidnapping

The President of All Nigeria Conference of Evangelical Drama, Pastor K.C Nwachukwu has narrated how he escaped kidnapping.

According to information gathered by Gospel Film News, he narrated how the Lord saved him from the hand of kidnapper in his August message to all ANCEDRAM member which he title ‘Sudden Intervention.’

The President recalled how he boarded a vehicle at Asaba Coker Park heading to one of the villages near Kwale. Those who are conversant with the village advised him to stop at Nsukwa Junction, he obliged and alighted at Nsukwa Junction but I was later told he was supposed to stop instead at Irelegu junction. He then waited for vehicles moving in that direction and finally joined a Sienna car.

According to him, five minutes in the car, he heard in his spirit, “Kingsley, you are in a wrong vehicle!” and within minutes, the atmosphere began to change, he could sense a negative atmosphere: a diabolical sensation. The windows were down yet he was almost getting dizzy. “I screamed Jesus! I am created for signs and wonders”. I started quoting at the top of my voice the scripture in JOHN 10:10. As I kept on speaking the Word, I began to regain my strength with speed. I continued with this exercise. My eyes suddenly turned to check the back seats. Behold, two among the three men seated there were already snoring with something like spittle coming out of their mouth. I began to shout at the driver, l command you to stop this car in the name of Jesus. I kept on hitting on the dashboard being seated in the front. Stop this car in the name of JESUS. Stop this car in the name of JESUS. Don’t you know who I am? I am a man of God! Don’t you know who I am? I am a man of God. I kept shouting.

“The driver, now with bloodshot eyes, suddenly pulled over and I came out. As he was about to drive off leaving me alone on a very lonely road in the thick of the forest, I shouted at him again, stop! and he stopped. Take your money, I said. He was reluctant. I threw the money which was more than the bargained N500 at him and said, JESUS loves you. Don’t die in sin. He zoomed off with great speed.

“As the car left, I suddenly became afraid. I began to wonder if it was a drama. I began to imagine what would happen if the men suddenly turned back to confront me. I had to change direction; I was looking for vehicle along the new direction. A popular commercially branded vehicle suddenly appeared and I joined it to my destination,” he said.

Nwachukwu expressed that God is ever faithful, He keep speaking to His children. “But, sometimes, our ANTENNAS are poor; we pay less attention to signals and thoughts. Life is too deep and spiritual.

“We all have what it takes to survive every challenge in our lives and ministries. We get easily discouraged by looking at gifts and exploits of others. Our LIGHTS ( MINISTRIES) may not be like other greater lights, yet, they too have the potency to stop Devil. What you have is ENOUGH. You can never understand it’s potency until it is put to use, under intensive challenge. I never knew the Word of God through my mouth can stop a hardened criminal in his tracks (I have been acting it in drama but never experienced it).

“The battle of life is individualistic. As I was battling with these agents, my mind never went to the men who must have been hypnotised. It was after the whole episode that I began to pray that those people would not be used for rituals, kidnapped or trafficked out of the country.

“The potency of the WORD of God spoken in challenging situations cannot be overemphasised. I saw the Word creating my world in that experience. I suddenly became too bold; seeing the criminals as non-existent. I couldn’t have done that under normal circumstance.

“Prayer works! I felt God has been hearing the prayers of the saints on my behalf. While in that challenge, I was too convinced that I would not die or be taken into captivity. How? I don’t know! I was just expectant of SUDDEN INTERVENTION,” he disclosed.

He concluded by praying that God will intervene SUDDENLY in every affair of your life, family and ministry in Jesus’ mighty name!
