Gospel Film Industry Multi-talented Crew Member, Oreofe Johnson Finally Laid To Rest

The fast rising Cinematographer and sound recordist in the gospel movie industry, Idowu Oreofe Johnson popularly known as O.J who was reportedly dead has been finally laid to rest, Gospel Film News can authoritatively confirm.

 

Report reaching Gospel Film News in the early hours of today, 13th May, 2023 says Oreofe was confirmed dead in a hospital today after sustaining various injuries in an auto crash.

Oreofe who was a student of Federal University, Lokoja was involved in a car accident while returning from school after his final year exams. OJ as colleagues fondly call him was a cinematographer, photographer and sound recordist. He has shot and serve as crew for several gospel films in Nigeria. The films he worked on are still blessing lives till date.

A reliable source confirmed to our correspondent that Oreofe is the only one confirmed dead, others are still in the hospital as at the time of filing this report. Information also has it that the vehicle driver ran away when the incident happened.d The deceased died at Ekiti. He was buried at Ibadan, Oyo State capital.

Some Gospel Filmmakers have been sending condolences ever since the new was break. Filmmakers present at the burial today include Mount Zion Faith Ministries member and actor, Evangelist Isaac Femi-Akintunde, first class movie director, Adeoye Omoniyi; Notable actor, Ayobami Adegboyega; Ogongo Tv production manager, Taiwo Ayoola; Set Designer, Johnson Babatola; actor, Esan ; the deceased two allies, Tobi Areo and Young who are Sound Recordist and Cinematographer respectively.
