“This means I am now a commissioned officer of Nigeria immigration service. I actually joined the service January 2007 but my appointment letter actually reads November 2006. I was upgraded purely on merit,” he said.
He disclosed to Gospel Film News that he had to go back to the University while in the service and obtain a degree before he could be upgraded.
While explaining how he is managing ministerial duty with his secular job, he noted that It has not been easy managing the two together especially when he was ANCEDRAM Secretary General adding that he has to travel a lot but he has this drive that says he should work now while it is day because a time is coming when it will be night that no man can work.
He reiterated that the harvest is plenty and he need to do the work of Him that sent him.
“I feel so happy about the upgrading. So many people I know that has been stagnated on inspectorate carder even some have been on that level before I joined the service and are still on the same level, some retired from the service without getting it, not that they don’t have the necessary requirements but they won’t just get it. That is why I feel not just because I merit it but for the grace of God,” Adeyeye told Gospel Film News.
He also pledged his allegiance to God.
“To whom much is given much is expected. It is time to work more in the vine yard of the master because He is coming soon. Thank God for his mercies,” he stated.
