Luke 4:26-27 KJV
[26] But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow. [27] And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian.

There are many widows in Israel during the time of famine ,but God sent Elisha to the widow in Sidon . And there are many lepers in Israel during the time of Elisha but none of them was healed but Naaman the Syrian. These two examples Jesus gave were not Jews but they were fed with the food meant for the children because the real children despised the grace of God .

The Lord sent Elijah to the widow who had nothing but God said He has prepared her to feed he man of God .Elijah went with expectation but met her ready to eat her last meal with her son . she was not willing to part with the meal but when the man of God told her the word from God ,she believed and obeyed by releasing her last meal to feed the man . What a great faith .

The preparation God saw in this woman was her faith. God knew she has faith in Him . She heard the word of God when Elijah spoke Kings 17:14-15 For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth. [15] And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.
She believed and Obeyed and she lived with her house hold . Namaan also received his healing by the word of God from His servant . Jesus came to his people ,but they looked down on the word of life because they are too familiar with him . Luke 4:22 And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph’s son? They despised him and did not believe his word and so could not be healed .

Some children of God are too familiar with the wood of. God or his ministers that they are not conscious or aware of God’s visitation . The widow discerned very fast of God’s visitation and she did not missed her blessing but the people of God are languishing in problem because thy are too familiar with God and his word . They could recognize the method of preaching of each great ministers of God . They knew the familiar verses of the scripture a certain man of God used to quote. They could analyze the styles and methods of their preaching .

The moment a man of God start preaching ,they knew how it will end ,but they are not sensitive to the spirit behind the word . How you relate to the word of God that come to you either through the Holy Spirit or whoever God sent to you matters because it has power to determine your victory and breakthrough in life . This is because the word is God Himself and God can chose to speak through any one . A young lady ,(his servant) spoke to General Naaman and He caught the rhema which led to his deliverance and healing .

Prayer: ….May I not be too familiar with the word of God as to miss my time of visitation in Jesus name
