Drama Ministers Fasting and Prayer Day 27: Taking The Serpent By The Tail

DRAMA MINISTERS YEAR OF OVERFLOWING EXPANSIONS
“TAKING THE SERPENT BY THE TAIL”
Exodus 4:2-4,17 KJV
[2] And the Lord said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod.
[3] And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it.
[4] And the Lord said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand:
[17] And thou shalt take this rod in thine hand, wherewith thou shalt do signs.
When the Lord was commissioning Moses into the ministry, He taught him a great lesson when He told him to drop his rod on the ground before him. When Moses dropped the rod on the ground, it became a serpent and he fled away from it. Then, the Lord commanded him TO TAKE THE SERPENT BY THE TAIL.
For a long time I had wondered why the Lord told Moses to take the serpent by the tail. But the Lord used a man of God to give me another meaning to it of recent. Then, I got a meaning of the command.
Moses was not told to take the serpent by the head, but by the tail, as he was being commissioned into His Divine Mandate. IT IS ALWAYS THE WILL OF GOD THAT EVERY WORK OF GOD WOULD START SMALL BEFORE IT BECOMES BIG.
Every ministry and divine mandate of God would start small before becoming big. A major assignment of the kingdom would begin in a small way before becoming big and massive.
The Lord had already told Joseph he would be a ruler somewhere sometime in the future. He had showed him dreams twice of his brothers bowing before him and the world coming before him. But the Lord trained him in leadership in Portiphar’s house and then, as the leader and co-ordinator of prisoners in the dungeon, before he finally appeared before Pharaoh to command the economy of the whole of Egypt. .
David was first shepherd of the flock of his father, then a young Captain of some soldiers under Saul, and then, he became a commander of some 600 vagabonds and touts who were living inside caves and jungles as militants. He trained these miscreants into what the Bible called David’s Mighty Men.
Then, he was made king over the tribe of Judah in Hebron for 7 years and then, the whole house of Israel came to make him the King over the entire Kingdom of Israel and Judah. And he reigned for another 33 years.
A lot of people like to jump Processes. They just want to get to the destination without walking through the journey.
Allow the Lord to grow you up. Dont be hasty. Run your race with patience which the Lord has set before you. A lot of ministries that begin in a big way with sponsored projects and ready made financed programmes don’t always have strong foundational roots. The Lord always want us to grow up in a process. The way to the Canaan Land is through the horrible wilderness. You can not fly there, you must walk the journey and eat the manna.
So, take up the serpent by the tail by faith, and it will become A ROD IN YOUR HAND AGAIN. And with the Rod, you will be able to perform some signs and wonders in your divine assignments.
If you can not make a big epic movie now, start with short movies that the church can use during their services.
If you can not publish that book of yours now, start publishing the word of God and your divine ideas on your blogs and social media. Start publishing short plays and short stories.
START SMALL AND GROW BIG.
The Lord even said, the Apostles should begin their ministry in Jerusalem, then, Judea, before moving to Samaria then, on to the uttermost parts of the earth.
I RECEIVE THE STRENGTH AND GRACE TO START SMALL AND GROW BIG.
David began From Shepherding the Flocks, to Ruling the People.
Joseph began From the House of Portiphar, to the Palace of Pharaoh.
Start with what the Lord commit into your hand now, and be faithful to the Lord with it.
Dont jump the queues.
Dont cut the corners.
Dont skip the process.
Run your race with patience.
And be faithful with whatever service the Lord had committed in your hand now, soon , the Lord will grow it big.
I AM STARTING SMALL, BUT I SHALL GROW BIG.
