Why is the book called 

Acts of the Apostles? 

The Apostles ‘acted’ so many ‘scripts’ that drew the attention of many. A lot of healing and miracles were wrought by them!

.

Today, as Drama Ministers and gospel movie actors, our actings are drawing many people withing and outside the church as great premieres are going on and several thousands are seeing our acts in churches, cinemas and YouTube.

.

So, in “The Acts of the Drama Ministers” we are recording great testimonies of changed lives. Glory to God! 

.

You need to note this however;

the HEART is more important to God than the ACT! 

.

Brother Ananias and Sister Saphira did not get that right. Their hearts were not right with God. They focused and gave priority to the acts.

The miracles of the acting drew their attention and they too wanted to act!

.

They just wanted to act by all means. They were desperate for their faces to show without yielding their hearts to the Owner of the script who is more interested in the heart than the act.

.

They missed it big time! The most unfortunate thing was that they did not have opportunity for “take two”. They died and were buried and the act of the Apostles continued. 

.

Dear sir. Excuse me ma…

What life are you living in the secret? Is your heart right with God? Are you just acting what your heart is not in synergy with?

.

Are you living in lies, deception, sexual immorality and the like? It is true that the eyes of men are not seeing you but nothing can be hidden from God! 

Unlike Ananias and Saphira, God is giving you another opportunity to change.

Take two. Take three. Take four…many takes but the takes will not continue without end…

.

Listen, Ananias and Saphira died because they lied. Today, it is beyond physical death. It is more of disappearing into obscurity and irrelevance. 

Celebrating old glories while no one is getting any benefit from your present life and ministry anymore!

.

When men loose relevance, they go into perpetual destructive criticism and become ‘police’ of other people’s calling! Attacking sincere Kingdom labourers and wearing down those who are acting with genuine intentions. Condemning those who the Master is still working on…

.

If you think you are standing, take heed. If you think your brother is falling, pray for him and talk to him. As the years winds up finally, let’s ruminate over these:

Proverbs 4:23 KJV

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

1 Corinthians 10:12 KJV

Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

Colossians 4:17 KJV

And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.

1 Timothy 4:16 KJV

Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.
