(Reading Time: 3 minutes)

Earlier this month, Mount Zion Faith Ministries released a movie titled “THE.TRAIN” which is a biopic based on the life of Daddy Mike Bamiloye (the president of Mount Zion Faith Ministries)

This movie is filled with a mixture of fun and lessons across every facet of life most especially for young people. There are also some important lessons Students can learn from this movie. I’ve carefully analysed some here, enjoy them as you carefully read through.

1. YOUR SCHOOL DOESN’T DETERMINE YOUR SUCCESS IN LIFE:

Attending a great or popular institution doesn’t make you better, also attending an humble school does not guarantee a successful life. From the movie, bro Mike was offered admission into one of the best schools which he later forfeit for a worst one. Despite that, he came out strongly! SUCCESS IS NOT MEASURED BY SCHOOL, IT’S BY THE GRACE OF GOD

2. WHEN OFFERED ADMISSION, BE SURE YOU’RE IN THE RIGHT SCHOOL:

Not all that glitter is gold! Sometimes Students lament for not getting admitted into their most preferred/ desired institution, forgetting that God has plans for them wherever they are. From the movie, Bro Mike gained admission to the best school but God doesn’t want him there. Sometimes as a student, while seeking admission, know God’s plan for you and bring the best out of it. Where you’re is not a mistake,it doesn’t make you inferior.

3. YOUR SUCCESS AS A STUDENT BEGINS WITH THE TYPE OF FRIENDS YOU KEEP:

Bro Mike the lead cast of the movie, during his days in Primary school, he was highly influenced by his friends negatively. But During his days on campus, his friends where the one that approached him to start a movement which is been celebrated now worldwide. Keep good friends and while doing that, don’t try to confuse them when they’re checking on you (do you watch that part while he was backsliding and his friends came visiting. He preached to them acting all was fine ??).

4. LEARNING IS FUN:

You don’t need to be over serious all the time in school or classes. Sometimes, you have to act along some funny scenarios and catch fun. From the movie, while Bro Mike was teaching in the class and he mistakenly said 1,2,3 (ACTION) the students shouted ACTION in chorus and the class ended humorously

5. WHILE IN SCHOOL, GET INVOLVED IN AN ORGANIZATION/ A COURSE (the right one for you):

Schools generally (both secondary and tertiary) have other NON-ACADEMIC bodies where Students can display every other gifts/talents deposited in them. It’s advisable for Students to always be part of one, most especially religious organizations. Don’t just be there, but also try to express your God given talent/gifting; we may not be hearing of Mount Zion Films today if Bro Mike didn’t take this step too.

BONUS (for fun)???

❗ Be careful of relationships (most especially on campus) human CCTV is hidden everywhere, they don’t need power supply, they’re natural! do you remember those three ladies❓??

❗ Learn how to pound yam or cook (you never can tell)??

The synopsis of it all is that no matter what you’re studying in school, don’t give up on your goals and as a student, involve God in the journey of your life. If you don’t, you may end up frying your face and smoking your hair?? just like Bro Mike (Abayomi) in the Movie.

What other thing do you think Students can learn from this movie ❓ share in the comment section.

I strongly recommend this movie for Students

Thank you for reading through.

  1. Learn to be motivated and be directed by the holy spirit. Just like how Bro. Mike was when they were to go for ministry at kano and some people declined to go with him but he never gave up.

  2. Live a purpose driven life cause that’s when you can fulfill destiny and always seek the face of God for directions, He his never wrong
