What happened at ‘1 in 50,000’ movie premiere

‘1 in 50,000’ is a movie that many people have been longing to see right from the production stage as publicity of the movie rent the air.

The gospel movie which is about Treacher Collins Syndrome was premiered on Sunday in Lagos with a sizeable number of audience eagerly expecting to see what the film looks like.

Gospel Film news correspondent, John Oguntuase who was live at the scene reports that the premiere started with red carpet which was anchored by Becky G Olorunponmi and John Oguntuase.

Veteran film maker, Kola David Okeowo later came up to introduce the film from pre-production to post production.

Our correspondent gathered that Kola David Okeowo was supposed to direct the film but some things happened and he couldn’t come for the film location, so Kayode Babalola directed it.

While introducing the film, Okeowo talks about how important it is to make more of such a movie, saying there are lots of issue to treat in the world.
‘1 in 50,000’ which is an emotional movie is a true life story of the producer, Mojisola Ogunlana and her first child.

During the premiere, some people were spotted crying, some praying, some motivated, while many others were inspired. After the movie, gospel actor, Evangelist Wole Olayiwola called for altar call for people that are facing some challenges and feel like giving up. The family of the producer was thereafter called for prayer which the senior pastor of the church where the premiere took place prayed for them.

People later gave testimony of how they were blessed through the movie.
