A gospel filmmaker and producer of indegeneous movie titled Kwaramba, Evangelist Joseph Musa Zira is celebrating 20th Wedding Anniversary with Wife, Patience Tumba.

The wedding ceremony which took place 29th March, 2003 at EYN (Church of the Brethren) No.1 Mubi North, Adamawa State is blessed with kids who are basking in the Lord.

In an interview session with Gospel Film News, Joseph Musa Zira disclosed that his wife is his second girl friend. Going down memory lane, he noted that his first relationship didn’t work because he didn’t seriously pray about it until he learnt how to pray and seek the will of God for a life partner.

According to him, he fasted and prayed and the Lord led him to ask a friend Zakariya Sini Kwanta to suggest a good and God fearing lady for him to marry because he’s based in Damaturu, Yobe State then his friend suggested his wife Patience Tumba Philip because of her good character. Joseph met her in her friends house Jamila Hassan opposite my family house in Mubi North, Adamawa on Christmas Day 25-12-2001.

“When I proposed to her, there was no long delay before she accepted because she too prayed after she quited from a relationship that God should give her a genuine God fearing husband then I showed up. Also, our parents are friends and are from same place they gave us support,” he stated.

He further explained that: “The time I quit the first relationship I asked God any woman I’m going to propose let her reject me if she’s not my wife because I don’t want to waste my time on friendship or disappoint any lady.”

While narrating the challenge’s faced in the past 20 years, he revealed that: “We both got married at early ages, as we are growing older we understood ourself more because of maturity. There are some challenges in the early years but we later put God first in our home and vowed to ourselves that no matter what happens we must not keep malice between us and by the grace of God we overcame it. No matter how much quarrel, we must pray together before we sleep. This is the biggest weapon we use in overcoming the challenges.”

Aside being a filmmaker, Joseph Musa Zira is into Bakery business, had Bsc. in Economics from Mautech Yola, the president of Musa Zira Film Production, a Drama Minister, a graduate of Mount Zion Institute of Christian Drama and Christoline Film Academy Alumnus.
