It was a moment of overflowing happiness on Monday 22nd of April, 2019 as Evangelical Vineyard Outreach Ministry, EVOM holds 30th anniversary in grandstyle.
The colourful event which started few minutes to 4 in the evening was collaborated with the 28th edition of the annual programme of the ministry, Christian Drama Fiesta. The celebration took place in Ilorin, Kwara State.
Gospel Film News correspondents report that the president of the ministry, Evangelist Shola Mike Agboola In his address appreciates God and everyone who has contributed to the success of the ministry so far, adding that the first script acted by EVOM was written by Evang. Mike Bamiloye who also graced the occasion with his wife, Gloria. He revealed that the ministry which began officially on March 1, 1989 has been high up the mountains and deep down the valley, experienced the thick and the thin, navigated on peaceful waters as well as on stormy ones. He also appreciated ECWA church, Ilorin who has been releasing their church to be used for different programmes of the ministry for years without collecting a dime.
Bamiloye during his goodwill message commended Agboola for his consistency and not loosing focus. He recalled that his children gave their lives to Christ while watching an EVOM film titled ‘Life for Life’ and finally prayed for the ministry.
A stage drama titled ‘Temi Yato’ which made the audience laughed and prayed profusely like never before was presented and a 15 minutes documentary about the ministry was projected. Some gift items were given to the most consistent participants, pastor of ECWA Church, the first person to arrive the programme, consistent worker and consistent member of the ministry.
The parents of Evangelist Mike Agboola, Pa. and Mama Agboola were also present at the ceremony. Anniversary cake was also cut.
