10 Nigerian Gospel Filmmakers Who Got Married in 2021

Marriage was instituted by God for partners to find fulfilment, companionship, complement each other in life, ministry and career and also demonstrate their Love to God and themselves.

In year 2021 being the year people are just recovering from the setbacks caused by Covid-19 and other Economic Challenges, Gospel Filmmakers were unrestricted in tying the marital knot.

Dare Fayemi, Gospel Film News’ Ibadan Bureau Chief compiles the list of Nigeria Gospel Filmmakers Who Got Married in 2021:

1. Femi Adebile

A gospel actor and producer who is famous for his role in ‘Gbajumo Were,’ ‘Kembe Isonu,’ ‘Gbemi,’ ‘Haunted,’ etc quitted bachelorhood and got married to his life partner and female actor, Rebecca Adesina in a low key wedding which caught many of his fans unaware.

The wedding took place on Saturday 10th of July, 2021 at Deeper Life Bible Church, Ikorodu Old District, Lagos, while the reception was held at LASPOTECH Cooperative Event Center, Ikorodu, Lagos State.

The Wedding had in attendance filmmakers like; Isaac Femi-Akintunde who is the chairman of the Reception, Adeola, Are Moses Korede, Adeoye Omoniyi, Olaitan Faranpojo, Seun Adejumobi, etc. The General Overseer of Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor W.F Kumuyi also sent his representative to the wedding.

2. Havinslota Ogunbiyi

Havinslota Ogunbiyi nicknamed ‘Brother Mike Double Double’, is a gospel film actor and dancer, who is famous for the role of Bro. Rotimi which he played in ‘The Train Movie.’

The Actor got married to his darling wife, Precious Opara in a church wedding held on Saturday, 30th October, 2021 while the Traditional Wedding was held on Saturday, 24th July, 2021.

3. Tolu Adegboyega

Tolulope Adegboyega, a gospel female actor, who is famous for her role ‘FLORA’ in the movie series, ‘Abbatoir.’ Where she acted the role of a prostitute, married her love partner, Mr Alagbe Adedayo.

The union was solidified on Thursday, 28th October, 2021 in a low-key ceremony which took place in Ibadan, Oyo State.

4. Omowunmi Olatunde

Omowunmi Olatunde who played the role of one of the gossipers in ‘The Train’ movie got married to her hearthrob Adedayo Emmanuel Ogunribido.

The colourful engagement and Church wedding took place at 6, Success Street, Owode-First Gate, Ibadan and The Ressurected Lord’s Gospel Church, Apata Ibadan simultaneously, after which a full blown receiption followed at Lafia Hotel, Ibadan.

The wedding was held on the first day in May, 2021 in a grand style. Damilola Mike-Bamiloye, Tunde Owah, Taiwo Ayoola and some other Drama Ministers were spotted at the wedding ceremony.

 

5. Raphael Oluwaseyi

A Resourceful and multi-talented Cinematographer, Evangelist Raphael Oluwaseyi was joined in Holy Matrimony with his heartthrob, Opeyemi on Saturday, 6th February, 2021.

 

The Wedding Ceremony which took place at Christ Apostolic Church, Miracle Center, Oke Aro in Ogun State has members of All Nigeria Conference of Evangelical Drama Ministers, ANCEDRAM in attendance to celebrate and rejoice with the couple. Hm

6. Blessing Ojo

Blessing Ojo, a member of EVOM World Network headed by Evang. Shola Mike Agboola, got married in Holy Matrimony with Pastor Gabriel Adesusi Samuel on Thursday, 21st January 2021 at RCCG Showers of Blessings Mega Parish, Ibadan.

The wedding was witnessed by the entire EVOM Family led by the President, Evang Shola Mike Agboola, ANCEDRAM members, Friends, and Family members.

7. Fakayode Olufemi Oladapo

Fakayode Olufemi Oladapo, a proficient Director, Cinematographer and President of Zion Home Drama Outreach got married to his heartthrob, Isawumu Adeola Victoria in November 2021.

8. Daniel Olukoya

Daniel Oluwaseun Olukoya, an award winning film editor, was joined to his lawfully wedded wife, Chizoba Sandra.

The wedding ceremony took place on 15th and 16th October respectively in Enugu State.
The couple were joined at Nkwo Nike Registry, Enugu East LGA, while a befitting traditional wedding was held on Saturday 16th October, 2021 at Nnabuchi Godwin’s Compound, Akpuoga-Nike, Enugu State. 

9. Angel Alake

Angel Alake who is an expert Cinematographer and Editor got married to her husband, Victor Isaac in 2021.

The Holy Solemnization was done on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Grace Finisher Assembly, Egbeda, Lagos.

Christian Filmmakers; Paul-Esupofo Oriade, Mojisola Ogunlana, John Oguntuase, Opeyemi Akintunde Ojerinde, Ifetijesu George, Erinayo Mosiko, Ruth Adepoju amongst others were also in attendance to celebrate with the couple.

10. Deborah Itunu

Deborah Ijila, ‘Oosa’ movie lead female actor and seasoned event photographer, was joined in Holy Matrimony with her heart desire, Victor Saleh Ochoje on Saturday, 9th October, 2021.

The wedding ceremony took place at Deeper Life Bible Church Regional Headquarters Ajia Dairo, Ijebu-Jesa, Osun State, while the engagement ceremony took place at Ajifolokun Ijebu-Jesa, Osun State on Friday 8th of October, 2021.

It was an intercultural marriage between Benue State and Osun State. The colourful wedding has people who were gorgeously dressed in various cultural attires from different walks of life.
